So mites destroyed my last chance at more seed and id run out soo here i am again with something new! Figured id share with my fellow Oregonians here and maybe encourage a few of you to post in here what you are growing now and maybe let others know of legit places to get their medications seeds or starts from! :cake:bongsmi:

Just germinated a couple seeds myself (Lemon Diesel,Lost Coast OG, California Wildfire). I'm a card holder from Oregon as well. We had an unusually cool spring and I'm wondering if that had something to do with mites attacking your crop. I'm really hoping the summer and fall are dry because the weather in Oregon can really cause havoc on the plants going into the fall. Also, as the weather get's cooler the mites try to get inside the grow rooms to keep from freezing to death.

Yeah this weather has been..insane hasnt it? One day its 37 degrees out the next day it reached up to 70 then plummeted back down to the 40s for a week etc the WIND is NUTS my regular garden id had going inside of a green house before taking it ouside was outstanding then it went outside and boom the copmbination of wind drying them out then constant cold snaps made me replant over and over

Today I figured planting is going to be set back another day or two since im paranoid about them coming back and am going to do another run through with chemicals in case. Bogey men exist..for cannabis growers and they are mites.

I read some info on here about rosemary and it is true ive got some growing outside now and they are hardy little things. I think I may wind up buying a few tomorrow to put into the corners of the grow as prevention. I wonder if the scent alone would keep them from entering or if I should make a solution of some crushed rosemary after the cleaning to baste the floors and walls with.

I swear if I could find where the mites home area is id murder the population and salt the earth after haha

Alright! The first blue himilaya has sprouted and it has only been 31 hours since it was put into a pellet will post photos asap and keep this updated. :bow

I hope they taste like blueberry snozberry wilywonka goodness haha wonder if they will keep their blue color once they are dried or if it will fade out like in the other purps.


Ive seen some with a faint purple in the smokeable buds but id love to get them a really rich purple

The strain I got THANK GOD is working beautifully so far! The last time it was almost a month before TWO came up out of TEN! I am thrilled that one popped up so quickly! Here's some pics :bow

I've grown quite a bit of autos: Nirvana Short Rider (my go to plant, have great results), Deimos Auto-Haze, Afghan Land Race, Blue Mystic, Northern Lights, Super Sonic Crystal Storm (by far my favorite name, it's like some '70s wizard metal band) and some others. I tried Short Stuff Onyx and they either turned to mush or hermied. Lame.

I'm going to do a couple La Blanca and Papaya outside this year.

Anyway, I have great results with my autos (1 - 1 1/2 oz per cured). They are easy and quick. Great to grow with non-autos.

Yeah it was crap the way the genetics were all this time but maybe this run will be different I really love the autos but I have to say if this hadnt worked out with these last two packs I was going to just run normal ones

I will say that as far as the most consistant auto (pheno, product and amount per plant) the Nirvana Short Riders have been super solid for me.

I run a simple 400 watt system in a 4x4x8 grow tent w/ one fan. I used a soil mixture I put together from my wormbox and and organic veggie mix from the nursery.

I sprout the seeds and immediately put them in their final pot. Auto grow fast so you don't want to shock them. I run a MH until they start to show their little pistils then I switch to HPS (you can actually run just a HPS if you want).

I wait until the are a week or two into full bud then I might hit them with some seaweed based organic fert. From there I just watch 'em and every so often hit 'em with some nutes. I use plain tap water.

This works for me. I'm sure you could get all hydro crazy DWC ultra-fog mist system but eh, soil is just fine and I get good solid meds out of it.

Yeah im a soil person myself worm castings etc same as you bro! As to the short stuffs you grow..any chance I could find out where you order your beans from? Right now ive got the himilayas and snowryders id like to get a pure sativa for the cerebral medicated feeling

Crap shoot with these folks and their seeds sooo yeah would like to see where else I could get them that someone has already purchased from. Dont want to throw another 300 out the door!

Soil is just good stuff. I figure these plants have been around for thousands of years, they know better than I. Hydro is cool and all but for me...meh, don't need it. Plus I think you get a certain magic from soil.

I use Attitude and Nirvana and have never, ever had a problem. I'm going to try Sannie's Seeds next (I've heard very good things).

You may want to try the Deimos Auto-Haze if you are looking that clean cerebral goodness (it's a weird plant). It take a bit longer to finish but it's worth it. I can't stand the anxiety inducing strains and this one seems to be nice and pleasant. The Nirvana Short Rider can be a little much for me as far as that goes. I have to be very careful with it.

The World of Seeds Afghan Kush Ryder was a good producer and great for my shitty arthritic back (that's why I have my card) but it's a heavy body type stone. Great for sleepy times.

So yeah, Attitude and Nirvana are solid in my experience.

Yeah im growing some heavy hitters myself for my bad back and knee got sick of taking pain meds and this stuff doesnt make me itch nausea etc etc but it gets so old wanting to sleep ALL the time so ive been hunting down some good sativas for mornings and the heavy hitters at night when the pain really keeps me up

I appreciate the info! Ive not branched out for seeds since I found a bank that delivered im going to get some from thcbay sometime soon but before that id like to get some more autos and im definitely going to check those places out!

Dude, it blows my mind that they would prescribe me opiates and shitty arthritis medicine that is horrible for you, but they scoff at med marijuana. I wouldn't take any of the crap they prescribed me...it never worked and made me feel like shit.

Weed does not make you stupid or rob you of motivation. I'm very successful and I know tons of other people just like me (doctors, lawyers, etc...). I go to work every day, work my ass off and pay my taxes. So suck it dickweeds!

These forums blew my mind. Waaaay back when I was a young buck I may have grown a little here and there...when I caught up on the technology and knowledge I was shocked. It was amazing. I tried a DWC set up first and seriously F'd it up so I just said screw it and went back to what I know...soil.
