Goodmorning everyone. I'm having a issue where my plants are not drinking water. I watered 3 days ago and the plants still feel heavy and moist. My Temps are around 75 to 78 and humidity in the lower 70s.
Don't worry it's such a random variable the plants will let you know when they need more based on pot weight and the one inch rule, if the top inch of soil is dry give them water, if it's not then dont.
You'll probably find now the surface of the soil isn't exposed to the light due to foliage cover, their dry backs will be closer to 4-5 days especially with humidity above 70%
Precipitation and transpiration will be lower, if you drop humidity to 65% you will see a increase in both.
Nothing to worry about tho they look healthy and happy but consider dropping set period watering cycles and just use the one inch rule for now.
Could you post some information on your grow? There are some variables that can cause this.
What is in the pot including any amendments and nutrition adds.
Water schedule amount and how do you determine when to water.
Temp and humidity.
They do not look stressed but if you made a large change in nutrition or water amounts recently it can cause a pause in uptake.
Did humidity get trended down from sprout or still at .7 vdp and stuff like that.
