Depends on flavor preference. If you want super thin, like water thin, go with a whey Isolate. Both brands also come in Isolate. But, you'll be paying a lot more. Basically anything with Casein protein or "Milk protein" will be thicker.

Taste is at the bottom of the list for me because im used to the chalky shit but you're right. The muscle pharm combat that i have tastes great. Cookies n creamON's flavoring tastes like butt. They are indeed the "Gold standard" in the industry, but have done little to revamp their products. Much better flavored proteins out there now. But yeah, you can find ON for cheap in bulk. Their quality is great as they're Glanbia owned and control the entire process from cow to powder
Is yours decarbed? The faster and colder you go the better color you get. I did 20 sec rinse and got good clear gold color. Any longer and it starts to green or brown up.Looks ok. You're decarbing it while you're at it?
