Hi guys these are my plants and environment today I have defoliated all big fan leaves from man stem and topped each plant. What you guys think? They looking alright now?

Hi there are a few spots that have shown up on my leaves over the past couple days any idea as to what they could be a result of?

Oh ok thankyou sorry for posting so much with so many questions I just really am enjoying growing but when I enjoy something I always ask loads of questions so I can make sure I know what I am doing lol.

Well then, keep asking your questions ... its going to take several grows to begin to feel comfortable with everything. This doesn't mean that its hard. It simply means there's a lot going on and it takes a few grows to become adequately exposed to things so that what you're doing becomes second nature.

I have just done a heavy defoliation do you guys think they look healthy I am seeing a lot of drooping leaves and am worried I may have gone too overboard with defoliating or do you guys think they look fine ?

Defoliating a plant you're not sure is 100% healthy is always a bad idea. Out of sight out of mind is not the way to deal with leaf symptoms.

Those brown patches in the video are a sign of pH stress. Based on all current evidence you are fucking with your plants too much! You already mentioned feeding the plant random pH inputs and I suggested aiming for 6 always. You may just be seeing the results of that earlier fuckery or you didn't take my advice.

RO water has no buffering capacity. This is really important in hydro/coco.

Hi I have been feeding 5.9-6 ph most have been 6 one time 5.9 I did have a ph meter beak on me a few days ago and for 2-3 days I “eyeballed it” which was the only thing I could do at the time. Do you think the defoliation was a really bad idea have I messed them up?

You can't eyeball pH especially with RO water. Growing in coco is HYDRO!

You took away their solar panels and backup reserves of nutrients. What do you think?

No, they probably won't die. You could stress your plants enough for them to go into shock ... Happy plants are not stressed out plants. There's reasoning behind the things we do, but that reasoning isn't "because everyone else does it." For now, step back away from them so you don't love them to death. Being a helicopter plant parent won't help them grow any better or faster.

Ok guys thankyou I thought I had killed them and yes I’m going to take this as a lesson learnt I will not touch the plants for the next couple weeks at least. This is my first grow I guess shit like this has to happen at one point just glad I haven’t had to learn it by killing them outright.
It is now the start of week 4 the guide I’m following has an increase in the an and b to 1.5ml/L this gave me a water with ec 1.4 and I phd to 6. Is the ec range suitable for week 4?
