Just don't forget that "bro science" and farming go hand in hand sometimes. People have been growing things long before there was even a word for science. Farmers have been sharing their knowledge at markets and gatherings for thousands of years. It's part of how we got where we are. Especially with the legal state of our crop.I'm talking about "bro-science" in general ... and yes, Youtube can be that sometimes.
Haha one hundred percent I am actually good at cooking I really enjoy that aswell and I feel like growing plants is similar in how everyone shares their little tips and tricks among the community.Just don't forget that "bro science" and farming go hand in hand sometimes. I don't think "science" figured out that if you want to grow a 100 lb pumpkin you have to leave only one fruit on the plant and cut off all the rest. I'm pretty sure it was either trial and error or an accident. Either way when you show up with a giant pumpkin people are going to want to know how you did it.

Add this to your tool kit:I’ve had something go wrong again the backup ph pen I’ve been using whilst waiting for my one to be swapped has now stopped working I’ve tried Calibrating with buffer solution but will not work so now I am stuck tonight with the ph of the water. What can I do?
I know usually due to the ph perfect technology on advanced nutrients the ph of the water is 6.3-6.4 after mixing I have ph down and the amount of water in the bucket is 10litres so do I just put in like 9-11 drops in and mix because that should at least land me in the range of safe right ? Until I can buy a new meter tomorrow.
Or do I just not feed ? I think that’s pretty risky though isn’t it?

Yes ok I will do but for tonight what do I do ? Just add like 10 drops of ph down ?Add this to your tool kit:

pH Test Kit
The General Hydroponics pH Test Indicator can help you maintain an ideal pH level (which is between 5.5 and 6.5). This can be achieved by monitoring your pH using the super concentrated drops found…generalhydroponics.com
Is that about how much usually goes in?Yes ok I will do but for tonight what do I do ? Just add like 10 drops of ph down ?

Haha yeah it’s just this line seems to have this thing where all their mixes are like 5.7ph and such so when mixed with water brings it to like a good ph for soil and near enough for cocoThe pH drops are relatively cheap. They will provide an excellent back-up in the event your pH meter is not working.
I'm actually surprised you're using "pH down." My nutrient mix is always acidic and I have to raise the pH up to the range for soil growers.
I use GH Flora series. It's both inexpensive and easy to use.Haha yeah it’s just this line seems to have this thing where all their mixes are like 5.7ph and such so when mixed with water brings it to like a good ph for soil and near enough for coco
Ok I have fed them all about 2 litres of feed till runoff.Yeah a little less than what you think you need is a safe bet.
Yeah man I only picked these because I liked the aesthetic of them and obviously I did some research and from what I read they seem pretty good and thoughtful of what they’re using in the ingredients.I use GH Flora series. It's both inexpensive and easy to use.
I see I will have to have a look but in your experience do you think this is a needed step or will letting the plants “grow out” of this issue suffice? Those bendy lst clips they have now look great
