The plant is in 5gal Dwc.
I upped the nutes before I actually noticed them. I use lotus ‘grow’ and just added cal/mag to the mix @ 950ppm according to the feed chart at 3 weeks. I’ve seen posts saying it’s a cal mag def but not sure if that’s actually the problem. These spots anre only on the bottom annd there has been healthy growth since the problem started Any help would be great!

Does the nute solution come in contact with the foil? If aluminum is leaching, then you could have some potential issues.

I’m thinking it’s a calmag issue but I added that 3 days ago and the bottom leaves have only gotten worse since then

It doesn’t look like Cali or mg
Looks more like nute burn

I might be wrong but it does resemble it

tbh I’m taking a break I just popped in for 5 mins

Ltrs good luck

Thats from ph swing.gappens to me every grow and goes away when next leafs come
I thought about that as well
Should of asked about thier ph levels
Yeah cannabis doesn't like ph fluctuations

I would listen to @amneziaHaze i grow organically so ph isn’t a problem for me

i was struggling with that last week constantly trying to get it to stay at 5.5 and then after further research and reading the plants needs noticing that it really likes to stay between 6.0-6.2… guess that explains why the top growth seems much healthier than the bottom.

My first hydro grow crashed due to a $29.95 EC/ PH pen set.
LFMF.
Looked exactly like that but mine did not recover. Good save. 👍

Great but looks like your tip is burning.
Do you track your ppms?

Yeah it’s at @ 950ppm with water falling but ppm and ph (6.1-6.2) staying the same. Thinking about just adding distilled ph’d water to lower it a bit to 850ppm

That feels high but i dont know what scale you are using.if it works for you then its good
At that size i was around 2-400

If you ask me this looks like something similar I have been battling and it is not PH swings from my findings. It seems to be too much cal mag for me and it seemed to be not getting enough nitrogen as a result. The lower leaves looking like that but new growth looking fine (notice its not a nice rich green still) speaks to a mobile nutrient problem. If it was PH swings, your new growth would be affected.

Did you get fertilizer feed on leaves? I've noticed a little on lower leaves in way when I feed my Ms. Blue DC Green.
