About 4 days ago I started to monitor a pre-flower on a plant already identified as female. The node in question has twin pistils on the nodes above and below it.

It’s still a bit early to tell, nothing absolute yet, but if I had to hazard a guess, I’d lean male. You should know for sure within a week.
I was thinking the same thing.

The rest of the plant has all female nodes so far. This is the only node I noticed that started to look like it was male. If it is a male pre-flower, and I don't see any other similar nodes (or only a few), I will just pluck it and hope for the best. 🙏

Is it also possible this is a mutation and it started to grow a 2nd branch at that fan leaf? This specific plant actually did that in another location on its own.

Edit: Added image.

This plant basically topped itself from start and the first node on the left main stem grew 2 branches on one fan leaf and 1 branch on the other fan leaf. 2 of the 3 were pruned already.

update soon but i reckon this is male 2

Day 11 of monitoring the development of this pre-flower. Pistils have emerged. What originally looked female, then definitely started to look male, now returns back to looking female. 😁

I was fixing to say that looks more like a tiny node growing rather than a nanner or sack

Now it looks like a female preflower
It has been a very confusing one from the start, haha. I think it ended up being a mutation of a 2nd branch growing out from the same node. It just grew so slow and happened during the time of sex identification.
