The only critical thing is take action before pollen sacs crack open. Hairless ball perched on a tiny stem, male. Hairy ball looking a little bit like a teardrop, female. But you're more likely to notice what looks like tiny grape clusters forming in the tops and if you see that, no need to wait... Chop that mf'er.Thats what i was afraid of. How long should I wait before confirming and chopping the plant? Bummer bc I vegged it for quite a while.
I'm in the same boat, had plants vegging outdoors since February and started a force flip earlier in the week. Had to yank 2 males on Friday and just had to pull 2 more today. Meh. It happens when you run regular seeds, and you're really pulling your hair out when you do a cross that's favoring males. The only critical thing is take action before pollen sacs crack open. Is there a chance this could end up being a normal female and i'm fine? Otherwise, wouldn't it be better for me to do it now and avoid the pollen producing and spreading? I know that might be a dumb question but I'm genuinely askingThe only critical thing is take action before pollen sacs crack open. Hairless ball perched on a tiny stem, male. no worries about pollen, you’ll clearly be able to tell it’s a male well before pollen starts and that happens during the beginning of flowering or as the hours of light get shorter,.Is there a chance this could end up being a normal female and i'm fine? I took these additional photos, please let me know if they work or if we need moreHey Drd....
Definitely a chance it's a female, but I'm kinda doubting it......
The 2nd node down from one of the pics looks like a set of clusters, but I also cannot be so sure.....
If you are needing an answer now, more pictures of the tops and the 2nd nodes may help us....
In that case do i want to keep it or chop it? Would you wait and see if you're in my shoes or chop asap? I'm bummed as i was very excited about this strain (watermelon from royal queen seeds).Could be a young hermi?
okay, i'll hold off and closely monitor for now. I'm curious, if it is a hermie, whats my best course of action then?Do not chop that plant!!!!!!!!
Speculation is all it is right now.....
The growth pattern in cannabis plants when they are switched to 12/12 can look abnormal because of the new growth, at the rate it grows.....
A couple more days, to be sure wouldn't hurt....
the seeds are feminized but the plant looks closer to the top picture then the bottom one.Are they regular seed, or feminized.
And your looking in the wrong place if it's reg seed. It'll be between the branch and main stalk.

I usually see this around 6th-8th node for indica and hybrids. Sativa's take a bit longer for me.
