Ive read a bunch of threads on this topic and i'm very nervous. Whatever this is, it is in one of my dep houses. There are only select plants that have this on them. Ive checked the surrounding houses and spreading dose not seem to have started. I did not want too but a cycle of Floramite was started. Will this work on russet mites? I was told they were spiders but misdiagnosis of russet mites is common, i hear. Im a week into flower and im in need of help.

floramite unfortunately isnt labeled for broad, cyclamen or russet mites

forbid, avid and pylon are what you would need but i would only use any of them in early veg - if your weed is in flower you have poisoned it already

get a scope - 60-100x and scope the leaves where the blades meet the stem - spider mites can be seen with the naked eye - all the rest I mentioned can not

if you have russets on your flowering buds in one greenhouse you should nuke it to prevent it spreading to the rest and by nuke i mean chop and burn

@al frey these 3 pics are the same leaf. Tough to get a good angle or visual without a scope. if i can see them moving can they russet? Can you have multiple mites at once?

hard to see any detail but bro, you seem to be way infested...not trying to be your daddy but your housekeeping is crap...you gotta do better keeping the plants healthy...can't see what bugs you have but those black spots are probably bugs, I see faint transluscent eggs all over, or what appears to ne eggs...how far along are you as the plants look pretty sick and a mercy killing is in order...your call and good luck...without seeing the problem and scoping it's a tough call

i have read that if you have russets real bad you can actually see the rusty looking stuff moving if you watch closely - if you can distinguish them as individuals with the naked eye that isnt a russet

very possible to have multiple bugs

No offense taken @al frey im a first time grower and it got out of control. I need a preventative spray schedule. The plants were given to me. Not sure on the age but they flowered due to stress. I tried to salvage them for what they were but my lack of knowledge turned it into a kick in the nuts. I know better now.

doesnt really look like mites. not sure whats going on. if you have mites, on the bottom of the leaves will be tiny bugs moving, and even tinier whit eggs attached all over the bottom of the leave, mainly on the veins as i recall.

yeah i really dont see the leaves as mite affected which is why I recommended to scope them before blindly throwing pesticides at the issue

is the whole plant effected? Did this start at the bottom of the plant and works it way up the plant?

On a positive note, if you have broad mites they will attack the pistils first and turn them brown prematurely, since the pistils in the picture appear to be healthy and white, this may be the case of the common two-spotted spider mite....it's not the end of the world if this the case.

I want to say yes however, there are still lots of bottom area on affected plants that are not as affected and regions higher up the plant. It does seem to of started at the bottom though.
