Doesn't look right for TMV to me. I have a plant now with a mutation where not all of the blade will green up evenly on one leaf set somewhat similar to your pic. Ut it repeats itself. I've also seen TMV like freak outs from stress or transplant shock. If you see the same sort of pattern repeat itself on other growth then it's genetic most likely. If it doesn't spread to other leaves its probably a minor freak out from something like a pH swing or some other stressor. Just keep an eye on it. If it's a stress reaction it won't affect other leaves. It's a sort of snapshot in time, if you will, marking a singular event.

To be safe.....you can finish growing till the finish.....I would not clone, just to be safe....sterilize utensils between cuts, especially that plant....just in case.....

There's lots of mosaic viruses, and ive seen many pass through cannabis. Most will infect cannabis completely asymptomatically, and sometimes a mosaic that just gives a little bit of variegation to one strain will completely stunt another and be asymptomatic on yet another.

My hedge bushes, a few of em caught a mosaic that gives them vein variegation. It infected all my cannabis plants, as just about every mosaic virus will (There was a bit of hysteria around TMV about 10-15 years ago in the online growing community, and everybody thought every mosaic was TMV, and it might be, but what matters is how it affects your plant) And it spread into my plants. Most didnt express any symptoms, but my biggs skunk stripes onhalf a leaf finger here and there, and gets some patchy variegation just like what you have here and there. My oj x bb #2 pheno expressed with pale yellow dots here and there. They dont ever become anything other then that though, and the plant is totally healthy otherwise. The tissue doesnt even stiffen where they went yellow, its just variegation. It's never progressed more then this either on mine, it's been there all summer long now lol. Only on a couple leaves here and there, and even those leaves are still fine and healthy

Once you see variagation on a cannabis plant, of just about any kind, you can be pretty sure some kind of mosaic virus came through your plants. In rare instances they completely deform and stunt a cannabis plant's growth. Sometimes thell give it a little vein variegation and a skunk stripe or two, but more often then not a mosaic wont express any symptoms at all on a cannabis plant, regardless of what mosaic virus it is. Im not sure but wouldnt surprise me if theres some hemp specific mosaic strains that cause variegation and other stuff.

Sometimes a plant will also just variegate in an interesting way, there are lots of variegated cultivars of plants. but in my experience with cannabis it's usually a viral thing, and more often then not it's actually completely harmless.

Im 99% sure mine is not tobacco mosaic though. They caught it from a hedge bush that got stunted by it. 2/13 of mine showed symptoms, but nothing damaging, 11/13 showed no symptoms, but i can promise it still infected them.

If you look hard enough, you'll often find the infection source too

So this is on probably like 10 different leaves on different stocks... I pray it's not tmv but I'm worried to say the least.. thanks for your help though.

My Point Break CBG has been doing this on some leaves since it was born. So whatever this mosaic virus is, it's just here and all my plants have it IMHO.

Some plants show symptoms but it's aesthetic and can show a fe different ways. But so far it's not actually harming any of my plants. So I'm more fascinated then concerned about it.

just for informative purpose:

More than 100 microorganisms (fungi, bacteria, virus, etc.) can cause disease in cannabis. In many studies conducted; hemp streak virus (HSV), hemp mosaic virus (HMV), alfalfa mosaic virus (AMV), cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) and arabis mosaic virus (ArMV) have been reported to cause diseases in hemp varieties. Also, tobacco mosaic virus (TMV), tobacco ringspot virus (TRSV), tobacco streak virus (TSV), tomato ringspot virus (TomRSV), eunoymous ringspot virus (ERSV), elm mosaic virus (EMV), and foxtail mosaic virus (FMV) are isolated from hemp plants. In recent years, studies on cannabis viruses have reported that beet curly top virus (BCTV) and lettuce chlorosis virus (LCV) infect cannabis plants.

like thatoneguyyouknow said there different mosaic virus like: Hemp Streak and Cannabis Cryptic Virus or Mosaic and Hop Latent Viroid

source: https://agri.nv.gov/uploadedFiles/agrinvgov/Content/Plant/Plant_Pathology/Hemp and Cannabis Crop Diseases -A guide to field diagnosis and management.pdf

viroids may or may not have an impact on bud growth, you won't know until it effectivelly start flowering and swell.

it's usually advised to isolate or kill affected plants when running large scale growing operation as preventive measure so it doesn't spread.
