I'd appreciate help identifying the issue I'm having with my Blue Dream. I transplanted my 3 plants into 20 gallon grow bags just over 2 weeks ago and everyone was happy. I used soil rich in organic matter, to which I added organic fertilizer, a small amount of decaying leaf matter and an earthworm or two. I'm noticing the Blue Dreams, which I left to grow naturally, has pale yellow leaves, just in the center of the plant. She is putting out veg nicely, but I notice the leaves have 3 blades now instead of 5 like they used to. Is it nutrients? I'm leaning towards the fact that I haven't been watering them too much, for fear of over watering, but maybe the grow bags dry faster and that's the issue? It has been hotter than usual here.

First pic for yellow leaf reference.
Second pic is the fam. Left: Gorilla Glue, HST method, Middle: Blue Dreams, natural grow, Right: Gorilla Glue, LST method.

Grow bags outside will dry faster.

3 fingered leaves are a sign of stress. If it was just the yellowing I would agree with @RGWD0202 but if it's 3 fingering I'm guessing something environmental that is affecting it. If your plant is 3 fingering there is something seriously bugging your plant.

What's the weather been like? What media are you using?

You may want to feed it some immediately available nutes. I use FloraNova in organic soil and the microbes seem to like it just fine. You might want to try and do a foliar feed to see if the leaves green up at all.

It was doing so well after the transplant, mixed fertilizer into the soil. I got the soil from a friend, waiting for the analysis results, but it looks great, full of organic matter and doesn't compact easily. I have been using Liqui-dirt regularly, an organic liquid fertilizer. The plant seems to be growing well, lots of new growth and good color, except for the interior leaves. Could it be that they yellow naturally as they're not getting much light? It got hot here pretty fast, so I've been watering morning and evening, but just a little because I don't want to over water. I will look into FloraNova, thank you. The other two plants are a month younger, but have the same soil mix and conditions, without the yellowing leaves.

Brown patches on the leaves (calcium) color fading between the veins (magnesium) and overall eventual yellowing point to one thing IMO. A little CalMag should get her back on track. The other option is excess potassium which can be antagonistic to N, Ca and Mg. The general shade of green leads me to suspect that it's not a K issue.

N= shade of green
Mg = how dark the hue is

I've been trying to gauge how much water I'm giving. I let the hose run in shower setting for about 15 seconds, morning and evening, just enough to keep them damp, but the soil is dry every time I go back. The water is from a well. As far as I know, the water test said it's very good quality, lots of minerals.

Just so you know, routine maintenance on your plants promotes the best healthy growth. Your plant will absolutely love when you regularly whack the small stuff and useless leaves near the main branch in the lower region. We call those 'unders".. It will change your entire garden and end product.. Cheers

Also that plant is shooting straight up.. If you want something that will grow a little fuller and wide i would highly recommend topping those plants

Yep, just like I thought.

Stop over watering homie. It’s not cal mag, or p or k there is no demand for that yet.
Morning and night you are flooding the root zone. They need air. That size pot, 1 watering 4-5 days.

You’re basically water boarding your plant.
That’s what is causing the die back as well.

How heavy does that pot feel? When you come back in the evening? Bet you couldn’t pick it up which you could if it was drying correctly x

Also if you were only feeding that plant 15 seconds of water it would be a match stick. Js.
