Monday Update 06-14-21

Auto cross in coco

Looks male to me

Still a bit soon but looks male and may not be leaning auto

The coco gang

Other than the auto cross left up front the rest won't begin flowering for another month at least and finish in 2-3 more months after that. They will be topped and trimmed once more and 6 of the smaller ones transplanted into 3 gal nursery pots. And moved to the large greenhouse. Really looking forward to trees

@PipeCarve
The auto crosses
3 males, 2 females 18-19" height, 8 weeks old, soil.

Girl

Boy

The 5 are all within 6'.

I'll pull the other 5, all 6-10"

Very cool. Hoping to get 50-100 seeds and will grow in coco. Harvesting every 3 months would be nice and working that auto gene into say GDP and Gopher would be a fun goal.

Happy Growing!

Just 'Cause Saturday Update

I got beer and bong tokes

Feeling little pain after working all day

Fun times, but then again I like being poked in the eyes with sharp sticks so what do I know.

I came home to these

Insane. 7 & 9 wks. I need to make time to move stuff around tomorrow and get those girls in larger pots with more space.

But really I posted that to get away with posting this

They've eaten 2 plants so far and are working on #3. This is going to cost me a few bucks at $20 a plant. Gonna try and clone a couple cuttings, got a bottle of Clonex.

Tomorrow might be a real update.

Happy Growing!

Can't believe it's been 5 weeks since my last post. Monarchs are fluttering around the yard and the milkweed plants are leafless. Such is life.

Pulled a calf muscle Friday (maybe a tear) and taking today and tomorrow off to recoup. Iced it the past few days and now using a 10's machine and heat, many tokes and just poured a glass of wine 'cause it's noon here. Fun times.

I moved all the coco plants to the large greenhouse a month ago and haven't had the time or the will to set-up the auto fertigation so they've been surviving on reg water once every 2-3 days. I'll still end up with plenty of smoke. It is what it is. I hope to take a few hours tomorrow and get that going. We'll see

Now the autos and tomatoes are auto watered daily and close to harvest.

I see a little catipiler I didn't see when taking the pictures. Been a couple weeks since the last Bt spraying. I'll hobble on out tonight.

Out of 10 auto learners only 2 females so won't be a lot of seeds but plenty to plant and grow in coco. I plan on one more batch of seed production with a Thanksgiving harvest then I can grow them year round. I assume they'll grow much larger than their 30" in soil.

The males I'm using

All 3 are nice, nothing special but these are in 1 gal soil pots so I can't expect much. The rest have been chopped and tossed in one of the compost boxes with the larger males.
Which I obviously have to chop up and kill. That one on the left has sprouted new branches, bastard.

All I got for today. Happy Growing!

Damn dude, I'm going blind.

@PipeCarver I'll send ya some seeds of this which should be 90+% auto but the next batch should be 99%. I'm gonna grow the shit out of these in coco and top twice, auto fert and stay high until I die

Thanks man! I always appreciate seeds. I grew out the chem dog seeds I had from you. I killed most with toxic water...since fixed once I identified the issue.. I was able to get a couple growing and kept it alive with clones for a while but I had to wipe out everything do to a mite contamination.

What ever happened to your thought on an eastern move? Is that still in the works?

Still hot our youngest with us. Until he moves out we're stuck, according to his mom, you know, the boss. What ever happened to us men? I could put my foot down but then I'd be looking for a new missed and I'm still breaking in this one

Shit man you is whooped..lol .....I can do anything I want as long as my wife says I can. It gets to a place where no one wants to rock the boat ( drama) so we morph into a clone of a man without the emotion or drive that came with the original model. Then they bitch we're not the men they married....well duh!

Auto seeds

Checked the plants a few days ago with the loop and one had a good 70+% amber trichs so clipped the top 6"

Full of seeds

Collected 60+ so far. The other female is still a week or more away with maybe 10% amber. Being the same age the one I clipped will be used to produce the next generation and the seeds from the other saved just in case.

I'm going to plant 20 today and 20 every first of the month hoping to produce 8-10 females to harvest each month. I'll keep one male and pollinate one female each batch.

Still haven't got the auto watering system set up in the big greenhouse. I may just move half dozen back to the small greenhouse to provide smoke until the end of the year and the auto's are producing.

Life is good. Happy Growing!

Female GDP x male Dragon Auto

Full of seeds. This will be worked until I set the auto line of this cross or kick the bucket. Really excited.

Dragon Auto my F1's

Only 6 of 21 seeds. Not happy. I'll plant another dozen plus this weekend.

A nice Chemgopher

Still about 8 weeks until harvest. They take forever it seems.

A full size Dragon from the auto cross

LA Woman

For all the abuse they've recieved not looking too bad.

Another Gopher

The Gophers seem to have weathered the abuse the best.

Work has been killing me and I still do not have the auto watering set up. Someday I hope.

I don't know about you

but I need a drink or twelve.

Happy Growing!

Fellow SoCal grower here. Those are monarch caterpillars. We plant milkweed to attract them away from our girls, they seem to prefer milkweed over cannabis. Also works with some aphids.

Si, in the language of my people of sunny so cal

Tried to raise Monarch cats for the first time this year. Never seen or even heard of a female laying on cannabis. We have enough moths and butterflies laying on our plants. I have a picture somewhere on this site of 100 +/- eggs on the underside of a large fan leaf. I'll be propagating as much milkweed as I can this fall and winter as it takes a lot of leaf to get those cats into a cocoon

Bt has been a God send for those other bastards. I'm not a big fan of vaping caterpillar shit, call me crazy

The fun continues

2 dozen of the GDP x Dragon autos. Should get 25% autos. I'll plant in soil and produce a shitload of seeds.

A dozen GDP's to produce more seeds (these seeds are from a May 2020 grow).

And a dozen each, both F2's of Reno's: GG4 X HCP and Tangie 99.

11 of the Dragon Autos

Should be 99% autos at this point. I'll need more seeds from this one as well.

I've ordered another water pump from Amazon which should be here tomorrow. I'm turning my phone off tonight so no chance of work tomorrow and setting up the auto watering in both greenhouses. The garden has 30 spots on a timer. Once they're on auto pilot I will be much happier

Happy Growing!
