Happy St Patty's Day!
I'm Irish. My wife is an Irish redhead-pray for me. If we had a dog it'd be an Irish Setter.
Not really. Really we want 2 Labs, (a blonde and a red) and a hound dog, and 30+ acres in middle east Tennessee. We'd name 'em Red, White and 'ol Blue. Here's to dreams
So, new diary. It's 2020, Corona virus is beginning its march and the perfect time to start a new diary. You have been born, prepare to die. That's life. Don't fear it. Peace.
First puff at the tender age of 16 in 1975. First grow in 77. Bag seed that was way better than the half bud half seed we were smoking. Could I compare that with anything from today? Naw. Got me high, enjoyed it.
Of course the Thai sticks and Hawaiian and those spooky folks in nor cal and something about a skunk got my attention. Black Afghany Primo hash? $10 a gram.
Then I got old and found out just how much this plant can help me feel better. But then again, hasn't it always? And now it's legal to grow here in sunny so cal.
So if you're new to my grows here's the skinny, love this frickin plant. Grew in dirt for several decades. In the ground with more bugs then most of you have ever seen. Seriously, and still have to fight
Ain't that nice? Out of control on 2 of 5 plants. Clipped, sprayed hard with the hose and drying. Bastards.
My fault, really. I allowed the weeds to grow, the aphids exploded on the weeds and found some good healthy plants to invade. Fun stuff.
1 Tbl Dawn, 1 tsp veg oil, 1 qt water. Spray every 3 days at lights out. Should have sprayed every day
I grew inside in the early 80's. Cost a fortune. MH lights, a/c running 24/7 along with a fan AND humidifier. I could have just bought a pound and called it even for the year.
So after decades of growing in dirt I found coco. Coco is a wonderful growing medium. Mix nutes and water often. Dealing with the waste water is the hardest part. If you don't have a lawn or flower beds the sewer is pretty much it but get this, it's worth it!
If you can grow outdoors in coco this summer please do. Give it a try. 3 gallon pot, plastic or fiber. Don't matter, you'll fall in love.
MasterBlend nutes are pretty killer for the price. Factions of a cent per gallon or spend more on the Dutch offering. That don't matter either what matters is that you give this coco stuff a try.
As always I recieve no royalties or any monetary gain, not even a reach around if you try coco. So this is from the heart. One grower to the next and our preceding generations. Do this. I've already done the side by side.
So anyway I'm going through life and my mother-in-law is diagnosed with bladder cancer. My wife brings her home and takes her to dr/chemo appointments and says we need to buy her CBD oil. I'm all in. We start her off with 30 ml twice a day. 3 months later she has surgery and the doc tells us no tumor. And, frickin AND her anemia is gone. Ya catch that? Gone. Bye bye. Are you kidding me? So yeah, love this plant.
Currently I've got these 2 Granddaddy Purples with their own private room.
