somethin there in pic three.

Mold, bugs? The purplish leaf tip?...the "bean" - picture 4 of the last series is the same bud as in pic 3. That seems to be the way this sativa is producing buds the last couple of days, they all have that little purple-green tip during the days and when I pull them out of the shed in the mornings the pistils/hairs have grown past them...

But if someone thinks this is a fatal problem, let me know:confused0059:

no u are looking good my friend. its just some youngsters with better eye sight than us old farts

Nice Thread! What was the bud it came from? Shwag?

Thanks.
Yarp - the four plants in this example grow are from unknown bagseeds - that bud is from the non-lst'ed sativa plant - the buds have kinda of a bluish tint, a powerful skunky odor too. I'm gonna try to be patient with this one...

The cool thing about cannabis seeds these days from a commercial source, say Mexico for instance, is that the growers down there actually use good genetics. I read an article in High Times about the Mexican growers that obtained genetics from Amsterdam and started to grow some good pot. The downfall would have to be in their commercial operations as they don't take much care to preserve the trichomes. I never liked the bricked weed that's all smashed up. Anyway what I'm saying is you might actually be growing a decent line of genetics. Best of luck. Cheers

Yea, I've heard the same, but still the last mexican weed I smoked was in 1981...

These stray seeds are from local California growers/breeders, but I don't even know how stable the genetics are..but the sativa (A3) is super easy to propagate, literally stick the cutting in some potting soil, 10-14 days later they're outside...got 8 clones outside and 4 more under CFLs while rooting. The one cutting I took from B2 is currently confused, lol, flowering still...leaving it under light 24hrs/day to see if she'll switch back to vegging, if not after 2-4 more weeks, then she just goes outside for good to spaz out all it wants.

Starting week 7 of flower tomorrow - stay tuned photos to come...

Kau

Purple Monday and Nug Pics

Here are today's photos - more of A1 and its profuse purpleness.

And nug pics of plants A3, B1 and B2...

I hope this thread shows that with minimal expense and effort anyone can grow their own quality meds...

And thanks to everyone who left comments!

Kau
