First time grow. My plant is experiencing what I think is a pottasium deficiency. I noticed it the other day and so I fed it normal feeding fro general hydroponics. Ppm went in at about 500, ph of water was 6.1. Runoff water was 1197ppm and 7.3 ph. Growing in tent in garage past couple of days have been hot inside of tent got up to 88. Growing in mothererath groundswell. Would love to transplant to coco. Need to take care of this first. Monday I flushed with approximately 1.3 gallons of water. I now know this wasn't enough for 1 gallon pot. I guess my question is whats my next step do I need to do a flush agaim with more wate

Plant looks fine but data says nay nay.
Recalibrate your pH and EC tools. Also if you paid less than $90 for a pH and EC pen the cheap lines with .1 accuracy are def low quality and will ruin your day

A flush to eliminate lockout ( not called for yet ) will include a wetting agent to move the salts out of the medium. Just water will not help.
pH that much higher than input first thing I suspect is the tool. There is a few things that can cause that but nothing I can think of that is very slightly symptomatic. Most would be burning the plant up.

You guys are awesome I was curious about the ph pen as well. I will recalibrate it. I have the Vivosun cheapest pen and ppm combo they had so like 15 for both. I'll continue to water and feed as usual unless spots get worst

Full stop on the Vivosun duo. If you want another set I will mail you mine. Followed all instructions but after buying an apera I found out the thing was .8 pH high all the time. I was running DWC and went to soil for easy breazy .

Like an old actor once said, "Trust, but verify." Find a number you can rely on and see what your stick says to see if it's giving you the right reading. Our tap is reported to be 350-450 and my stick says about 400 so I know it is reliable for a ballpark reading. My pH pen I periodically check against some red phenol drops. I fried a couple plants a while back before I realized my stick was lying to me.

I took mine to a friend's and tested it against his, then bought the Apera 60 kit.
Also little power tip on pH pens. I write down everything. I do have a calibration schedule but I actually found another way to " check calibration"
My nutrition choice requires a pH adjust after mixing. At full strength it hammers to water down to about 4.4 pH. As I track everything I pretty much had the pH correction down as the feed rate was always the same. Then I had a oh check was a bit low. I reached for more pH up and my brain got all weird. Started asking why 9ml of up always pinned the pH to 6.3 but not now.
Sure as sure Apera pen was off .25 pH. Found a big clump of organic matter ( fish poop) on the bulb.
Best pen in the world can be wrong in the hands of a biological control interface who is not paying attention.

Lol I wish my one particular potassium hungry girl looked as good as yours 🤣 Your plants have nice color, not sure what happened to your one wonky leaf but nothing else is looking off and that's when you gotta ask if maybe something got spilled on it or something... maybe fungal? Pinch it off, put it in your rearview mirror. If you suspect it could be fungal, you can check humidity and circulation so it doesn't pop up somewhere else.

I got some of the water Nute mix on the leaves could that burn it? Or maybe when i spray for pesticides

I'm with you there. Some of those fertilizers are like muriatic acid even at lower doses. Morbloom (shudder).

You also don't want to transplant a plant started in soil into coco. The 2 mediums don't have the same properties and you'll set yourself up for problems. Stick with soil for this run if that is what you started the plant in. Make the switch to coco next run ... or take some cuttings for clones and plant them in coco once you're showing roots.

You never want drops of anything on your leaves just sitting at any time, whether from watering or the water in your bug spray. After you get your leaves wet, get a fan on them and keep the lights off until the fans are all dry. The light will fry spots into the leaves and the dark will allow fungi to attack.

Agreed. It's an excellent product! It's a bit pricey but it's worth the cost ... especially if you grow organically.

That's what came to mind when I saw the damaged leaf in the photo above ... it got wet and being wet caused the damage. The rest of the plant looks healthy!

It probably depends on the cloth bag too. Some of the fabric they use is designed to work like those air pots, the roots hit the edge and then shy back away and I use those but I'm betting there's bags the roots will just grow into the side of the fabric and if you need a good visual, imagine trying to flush a live octopus down a toilet. 🤣
