Ok so I have seen this before in plants, but never on a brand new seedling. This is a rezdog Bottlerocket seedling about 6 weeks old. The seeds were in my fridge for 10 years in a sealed pack. There are two seedlings, one looks perfect and this one has these mosaic-like yellow patches coming in on the leaves. The pictures are not so great, taken on my phone but you can clearly see the problem The newest growth coming up looks like 1/3 of one leaf is missing and discolored like this.
In the center picture, left hand side you can see the new leaf coming up and a full 1/3 of it is missing with the mosaic coloring plainly visible.
Is it true that tobacco mosaic virus can spread through cigarette smoke? I have smoked indoors. Should I just throw this plant out? The other one is great like i said, I don't need plant viruses to deal with. And yes, I know the plant looks rough. . . Give me a break I had zero money for supplies. I crushed up some coco coir jiffy pots for grow medium and could barely afford a $14 bottle of earth juice grow which was the cheapest nutes at the shop. . . Forgot that earthjuice tends to have a wrong pH and I didn't get any pH correctors.
