The ugly ones are Transylvanian Naked Neck chickens, or Turkens. The ones with the bare backs are normal hens that rooster has been... The way he sits on them pulls and breaks their feathers. Believe it or not, the Naked Necks are hardier for cold weather than the other chickens.
