No but I don't think 4% k is going to get you where you want to be. Call it a hunch but I don't.

Then read the book and find out the theory.

Roots eat nuts
Ca creates roots
Bigger root mass, the more K it picks up.

So 68% ca will develop 75% of potential root mass lets say for fun. At 85%, it will pick up 85% of potential root mass under the exact same environments. Well, the 10% bigger root mass is more efficient at pulling nutrients from the soil, there fore needing less overall base saturation levels to achieve the same uptake. Ca also dominates the soil, and dictates optimal levels easier. Been seeing it with my own eyes for a year now. Night and day.

Like you said, it's what's in the leaf. More uptake in a 4% soil will give higher leaf counts than 6% k levels in slow uptake soil.

Not in my opinion, 85 will get you lockout when 80 is all that is needed. I'm not saying 65 I'm saying 80. Without more knowledgeable growers though who refuse to listen to agronomy because cannabis is soooo different we get nowhere. Kudos on your findings, just don't wall yourself in with what someone tells you, explore. Do a side by side 80/8/8 and 85/8/4. Or don't, you're choice. To be honest very few want to be Pathfinders, when it's much easier to follow and as you know many like to complain about the trail that you/we cut

Once again, you have a source that claims this? Have you been able to produce this on paper while tracking grows? Just curious on why you think 80 is great, but 85% isn't and from what literature?

I don't listen to anyone if it doesn't add up nor do I care to show any of MY findings with my soil mixes anymore. It gets you nowhere for various reasons. Do you have findings it doesn't work or just what slownickel tells you? Does he grow cannabis? Not hating just curious

HUH, I thought we were having a conversation. You poop pooped my source, so I was just wondering if you had another source, or have data from your own grows. What a fool I am, to think a decent conversation over the internet would happen. Homesteader, you have great posts, but seldom bring them into context for others. Just post video after video. I like to take actual field data, and compare against these video and book claims. I guess you don't. I will stop asking.

How do you know I don't pal? Grow a thicker skin. I try to keep my ego out of my threads and will moreso now. Too many egos in this game. All I said was experiment and don't accept heresay. Who else besides slownickel says to push 85%? Calcium is only part of the recipe.

I don't wipe peoples ass by the way, but always willing to pass the paper. Meaning why the hell would I need to pull anything into context, If people aren't willing to do some work for themselves. Much easier to listen to others who sell themselves (and their products). Wouldn't you agree?

Personally I like you bro so Im really not cutting on you but you can take it that way if you want.

I did answer that Im not going to share my soil test results anymore because it does nothing for me. You can read that anyway you want. If you want to believe I dont mix a lot of soil and test it by growing, then by all means, think that.

Are you having a hard time following along? William Albrect and VA Tiedjens. Don't worry, they discuss every element, just talks about how Ca drives those base saturation levels. Also, I have seen the difference with my own eyes.

Yeah that must be it, I know nothing abut base saturation and Im sure as hell not going to argue with the likes of you. 85% comes at a cost.......Adios Im done and out

I guess this is what I get for bringing a little science to a conversation on a weed site. Carry on people.

Why in the world are you so mad? You ask about who recommends high Ca other than Slown, I give two names and you start talking that nonsense? I don't get it.....

I would ask what cost does 85% bring................ but I know better to ask of your genius.

No thats what you get for bringing an ego like you always do. I suggested you drop your cal levels 5% and increase you K and you demanded findings that im not going/willing to share. I don't care if you drop it, certainly not now,,,,,increase it for all I care.

Man, I don't do things based off others on the internet.

My soil path.
Learn Chemistry
Learn Biology
Lear how to accurately test
Apply knowledge.

When I ask why you think 80% is better and ask to site sources, it's because I like to gather any and all information possible when I make my decisions. That is it man. Not sure how all this started.......... You say you like me, yet have taken several digs at me, over several months. I was just curious about your system, what success you can quantify, and possibly where you learned this information from.

From here on out, I will not acknowledge you. It makes you too mad. Ignore is on.

No, I just don't want to waste more of my life with you. Nobody is getting picked on? You a snowflake or something? Need a safe zone?

I know why you don't post soil results.......Cause you can't produce a soil worth showing. That is all.
