Yes I love the Big Island! I was there in 2018 and we visited the "Valley of the kings" like in your picture. We stayed in Kona and in Hilo it was awesome. Snorkeling is off the chain next time you go to Big Island you gotta check out the Captain Cook nature reserve best snorkeling spot on the island. I would share all my awesome GoPro snorkeling footage however my face is all over that shit and I don't want to incriminate myself on the grow forum lol. Thats one nice thing about living in CA we can get flights from LAX to Big Island from $485 per person round trip.
I've never gotten s chance to go there. I'll withstand the 11 hour flight to get a chance to taste the fruits.
I'll have to wait until I'm healed enough to dive again.
Imo, you see just as many, or more fish while snorkeling, but i also feel like I've traveled to another planet when diving.
Ya can't go wrong either way.

For clarity, Cosmo is the only place i pay to stay, Caesars and MGM are comped. Heres my view at LuxorView attachment 1159782

I think the days of being compt are about done. I was really disappointed with the service in a SERVICE based town. I walked through a few older casino's, and ya check in at kiosks. Rediculous!
Back when The Palms was "it", I never paid foor sweets, or onr the Penthouses. That place eent to crap, and flu put it out of it's misery.
Better days for The Palms. 53rd floor (if I remember correctly), right under moon, the retractable roof club.
There were only 4, or 6 rooms on the floor.
In the Fantasy Tower, they had a basketball court in one of the rooms, a Bowling alley in another, and all had pools on the balcony.
I may gamble 1 full night a trip..Ave bet now has to be well over $100 a hand, and I believe for at least 12 hours.
Surprisingly good top shelf at one, or 2 places off the strip
I'll have to search for more pix of better days at The Palms

I still get comp offers daily but the buffets are gone! The place i really miss is Harley Cafe.
Always wondered who stayed at the Palms, saw all their Airbnb’s. Cosmo is special, hidden spots like the speakeasy and secret pizza(3rd fl boulevard tower), but the best secret is the angle suite, only 1 per floor in Chelsea tower. Thought this was a nice touch, life is a box of chocolates…

It's been a while, but at one time, well before Cosmo was built, The Palms was it.
MTV did the Real World there (the threesome season).
It' was a block off the strip, and because of some of those Penthouses, and clubs (also owned by the Maloof's) that was the place for celebs.
They built Palms Place as the recession happened, and that really hurt em.
Mandelay Bay is sick! If you’re not a guest you can't get to the pool.
Vegas was a whole lot more fun in my 20's early 30's. Not that it's that big a deal, but paying for parking everywhere, service is horrible everywhere I went.....
The trip ended up being worth while, as the Canyon was breathtaking, and the table treated me well.
I don't think I'll be going back until I hear it's back to its old self (maybe never?)
A few positives
Smell of bud far outweighs the smell of cigs.
Oh, do you know about Bootleggers?
One other secret spot is at MGM.
There's a club at MGM around in a decilate area. No signs, no advertisements...Ya don’t even know it's there.
If found, and you can get in, you'll find the likes of Michael Jordan, and that level of patron.
Cosmo is awesome! Contemporary, clean, exclusive......just a tad small. Not necessarily a bad thing though

Hand written. Nice touch!
Are you playing every day during your trips?
What game (assume a 10 under there 🤔)?
I can't stand these 6 to 5 BJ payouts.
Ya can negotiate the rules before playing, but I'm sure you know that.
I only play at a couple casino's (luck thing), but it doesn't really matter where ya play. Vegas knows everything

Quick background. As part of my PT from spinal fusion I soot foul shots, and jumpers (if I could get off the ground 😏.
I hadn't thrown a ball in a while. This 3 second video may as well be poetry. I'll post again when I hit it.

Room service, gamble, buffet, show, gamble is pretty typical. Wife doesn’t golf but has the best beginners luck you ever saw. Sat her down to her first $5 bj table in the Trop years ago, she sat there for a couple hours and won close to a grand. Pulled into MGM one time around 1am, while i check in she plays roulette, hits three straight numbers for $25, up $2700! I explained to her a $25 table means total bet, i still don’t think she gets it. We usually gamble around 15 and end up or down a couple. Boom!

Some crazy thousand to one royal match $1 side bet she hit on an electronic blackjack in Cosmo

I honestly believe the less you know that 1st time out, the more ya win. Begginer's luck IS real! Idk, with all the biometrics, and technology they have, I'd almost swear they fix it so ya win that 1st time, and go chase that high.
I never got into golf, but I wish I did. I'm certain I brained my damage playing football, and boxing. I don't even notice golf corses, but if I see 2, or more random people throwing a football, I'll drop everything, put up my hands, and say "right hrre"
I'm not ashamed to say I had crazy beginners luck as well.
Caribbean casino, I was 17 with 75 cents on me. Dollar min. I borrowed a buck from the old man, bam. I hit 2 more, but had someone place a 3# bet. I was set with cash for the trip instantly. I learn how to play BJ by the book that trip, and killed it there too. I felt like it wasn't possible to lose.
Then I went to AC, and reality hangs out there.
Now I gamble 1 day most trips. I don't play exactly by the book, and do okay sometimes. Vegas wasn't built because everyone won. Lol . But, everyone only talks about the trips they win.
I was really disappointed this time out. I hope they start treating people how they did 10'15 years ago. Imagine the treatment in the 50's-60's. Dam
