Yes but believe it or not around here people think they are the best eating fish there is.Suckers resemble a small carp, bony bottomfeeder with a good fight on light tackle. During spring spawn we finger gilled them under creek banks in PA as kids.
Look up milk-snake, cuz the last time i reached under a bank for a sucker fifty some years ago i grabbed a bigass snake with about a six inch chub in his gut!Yes but believe it or not around here people think they are the best eating fish there is.
We snag for Spoonbill they get up around 100 pounds but I don’t care eating them.
