These here are rats with furry tails that need serious population control,
They will destroy everything they inhabit.
Soulless eyes and claws to destroy your shit you work hard to keep in order.
Pellet, .177-150 foot head shot,
Clean, no suffering.

I trap but I bury 🤣 I will use my pcp air rifle with a suppressor 😁 it's as loud as a mouse fart. At one point we had a problem with house sparrows. My neighbor across the street could hear the pop from the polymag 🫠 lol it's the army 🪖 in me.
Bury.......alive? Where? Some of the high end air rifles are pretty darn strong these days, but your basic air rifles will often just make something like a raccoon angry. It needs to be a strong one, and very well placed. And if you just injure them, other raccoons will then attack and finish the job. That doesn't sound very pleasant..... ;).

What is a house sparrow? If I don't get ahead of the Robins, sometimes they'll try to make a nest up on top of a flood light. Crows.......ever hear young crows in a nest? They want food every 30 minutes, and they will scream bloody murder......it sounds like children getting strangled......

A well-placed bottle rocket pointed at crows looking to nest in the area, and they won't want to nest in the area. ;)

I trap ground squirrels around here. Shooting them in the trap. Can screw the trap up when you shoot like I do! Lol! So I put a weight on the trap. Keep a garbage cans full of water. Throw it in. I have a beer. And come back and dump it out where the buzzards can find it.
So you drown them alive.....?

Yes, it is the most human way to end there existence.
I do not enjoy there struggle trying to escape.
In the barrel they go, lid on immediately and walk away. I would rather not beat them to death with a shovel,
Sometimes it takes 3-4 maybe 5 whacks before there out of there misery.

Oh I'm sure it's human. Here or there.....

But it's not good just because you compare it to something even worse. Yes, compared to pulling all of their teeth out with pliers, drowning animals alive is probably better. But the right way to take care of things is with a close, well-placed bullet to the base of the skull.

Agreed,
Close to impossible to achieve,

Yep! It’s over with quick! No chance of missing or wounding. But they are nowhere near the size of a groundhog. I don’t know about that.
Drowning animals alive isn't humane. Your definitions of "quick" aside.....

If you can't walk up to a cage and place a bullet in their skull at super close range, you probably need shooting lessons. Or, let someone else do it.

Killing animals isn’t humane! Shooting them isn’t humane! Some people’s idea of humane isn’t humane!

From my experience, shooting them in a small live trap doesn’t always work out so clean! I haven’t found one yet that just stand still, and says, shoot me! I suppose I could throw the trap inside of a bag and squirt some starter fluid in there, and knock it out first to make it more humane!

You ever tried to hold a squirrel?
Raccoon?
Gray digger?
You ever walked up to a cage with said animals above trapped in it?
They don’t wait for you to do anything, there desperate to escape, they ain’t sitting still.
It’s just the way it is was and always will be.

Fucken hell man, I don't even understand the thought process behind trying to justify drowning an animal lmao. I've done some pretty unimaginable things to human beings and I've done my time for it, but I wouldn't ever think about doin some shit like that to an animal and have a beer while they're drowning lol. You take pride in shit like that, good for you bud, but I'd rather not read shit like that.

It might be a crime in all states, but drowning is pretty universally considered cruelty, and is also now Federally a felony. It might just be the one thing he did right... ;)

And the keyword there is, almost entirely submerged! Oh well get back to growing weed. I’ll handle my squirrel problem.

Hold? I mean, I'm not trying to cuddle with them......

It is what it is, drowning is cruelty. I'm not defining all of this. And if you can't get a proper shot off in a small, confined area, then it's best to let someone else do it. I'm sure the animal doesn't want to get shot either. There are ways to hold it still (another person with a restraining collar), or possibly sedating it to the point of stillness.

Well, that’s your choice. You can hire someone else to do your dirty work for you or you can do it yourself.
I.....literally think you should do it yourself. It's the method that's defined as cruel and illegal.
