Looking fire!Tent is getting loud
Hmm never thought of using a fork I usually just glove up and break up the top, Iβll have to give your advanced version a try1 gallon pots. You gotta be a crust buster weekly, I take a dinner fork and break the top of the soil. I use dry amendments a lot in small pots, that way Iβm not chasing plant hunger. Although, 1 gallon pots do still run you into a wall with that. The wet/dry cycles are fast. So you really gotta keep an eye there. Keep the crust busted, so feed gets everywhere and a dry amendment or 2. Thx man! I was trying a few different things with this grow. Not too sure Iβm ever gonna do it this way again. Still fun as all hell though. Just tedious.
Iβd have to agree, I have a dedicated fork, itβs seen some shitHmm never thought Iβd using a fork I usually just glove up and break up the top, Iβll have to give your advanced version a tryβ¦ with all seriousness though. Cus Iβm just wasting gloves at this point haha
Itβs getting thereβ¦Looking fire!![]()
Honestly though, that top inch and a half really does get rock solid you can see the difference in the pooled water on top after the break upIβd have to agree, I have a dedicated fork, itβs seen some shit![]()
Yeah, itβll run off tho the sides, drains very patchy otherwise, I do it as common practice anyway, it makes a difference, good drainage in that root zone is everything!Honestly though, that top inch and a half really does get rock solid you can see the difference in the pooled water on top after the break up
100%, even added an additional 10% perlite to this mix in about to pot into tomorrow, gotta love 5 gallon pots that dry back in 24 hoursYeah, itβll run off tho the sides, drains very patchy otherwise, I do it as common practice anyway, it makes a difference, good drainage in that root zone is everything!
Oh? Thatβs $$$, nice fast cycles.100%, even added an additional 10% perlite to this mix in about to pot into tomorrow, gotta love 5 gallon pots that dry back in 24 hours
downside is having to be there to water in the right time frame hahaOh? Thatβs $$$, nice fast cycles.
Oh I know that dance all too well, I canβt wait for it to be overβ¦my pot size asks for it. Iβm always lurking like a weirdo with a tea kettle! Would you like a spot? And you! You want a spot too? Sheeeeet Iβm over it brother. I know what your going through. I just get happy when they eat vigorously like that.downside is having to be there to water in the right time frame haha
Id like to run microdrippers but running peat moss and perlite some days they drink quick some days they slow down a bit, with automation Iβd still have to check bucket weight pretty frequently to be sure Iβm not over or under watering, I think coco is a bit easier to gauge as itβs always a quick dry out / rewet, but Iβd have to try it to be 100% sure lolOh I know that dance all too well, I canβt wait for it to be overβ¦my pot size asks for it. Iβm Leary of coco, Iβve thought about trying it plenty of times over the years. Itβs the wet/dry cycle of it that I was most interested in. Iβm one of those, if it ainβt broke donβt fix it. I also have a hydro rig. Just never busted them out seriouslyβ¦.soil is in my soul at this point.
