With that kind of common growth I would consider it haha, the Great Lakes have never been known to be the cleanest, I also live near one lol. But the frequency you’re getting them is a bit concerning lol.

My Concord grapevine. I let it grow wild for 10 years. A couple years ago I cut it back to the main cane and (2) 3' main arms. I bought some netting to keep the Japanese Beetles and birds from ruining the harvest. Some jelly and a bottle or two of wine are my plans for the grapes.

Yep, I have a bunch of the stuff. I have more of an issue with palmetto bugs. I have 3 ancients pecan trees those stupid critters love. The drought conditions have kept the numbers waaaaay down this year. Cicadas are signing nonstop. Them things won’t shut up 🤣
