Entry wound actually with a 12 gauge from 45 yards.
Lung shot I actually tracked him and caught up to him wheezing just before he died

Longest part was tracking him, light blood then heavy then sparce.
Was starting to worry especially when I had to crawl thru the briars but luckily he didn’t get too far in there!

Striped bass are anadromous fish, they live in salt but return to fresh to spawn.

Completely missed first shot broadsided from 50 yards with my shotgun while he was completely still just so I could wait until he was on a full gallop and hit him with a perfect kill shot lol he only went 20 yards!
It really was awesome and has been an awesome season.
I’ve already got buck #4 and it’s not even thanksgiving yet!
