I had a 16ft Coulum for a number of years i used for drifting set up with a drogue

That photo above was taken at sunrise from the river bank, I was getting ready to pack up i'd been fishing since darkness and had a memorable night.

There's nothing better fishing down there in darkness puffing on a big joint it's primal

I once did a 30 meter drop troll by canoe on a lake in the UP. 2 lb zinc ball and a Erie Dearie 100 feet down.

Found em at 35 feet, walleye. Feeders for the giant Musky that we gave up on due to sunny weather.
Kinda like market fishing at that point but it did help find the fish.
