Not sure if you have been to BC but we vacation at a gorgeous spot called Oaks Bluff...North Pender Island off of Vancouver Island...... have to take a couple of ferry's to get there..... 365 degree water view. Orca's playing right below the house in the ocean every day...... deer come into the yard to graze. Wonderful quiet beaches for picnics or in our case shroomy trips and we even saw a huge submarine surface while tripping more than we should have been for such an event. Fresh seafood to purchase right on the docks with live prawns that are so good I really cannot describe them. Live dungeness crab....fresh halibut.....oysters...and the salmon....oh the salmon! The place is fantastic...hot tub on the roof, sauna on the lowest level....7 decks I think.... wonderful deep 2 person Japanese soaking tub in the master bathroom with the most amazing view you can get in the northern hemisphere....fireplace in the master bedroom which is in the "tower" so circular with windows with amazing views.......pretty darned reasonable and the owner Kevin is a cool dude. He hooked us up with some great herb and all over the island in almost any public place people were smoking to their hearts content. Pretty mellow as luxury goes but you can take a ferry over to Victoria and there is lots going on there. Go to Saltspring Island for their saturday market....very cool. Then there is the hot spring near Tofino...ocean waves splashing into your hot pool.....absolutely amazing! Drive out to Port Renfro and eat at their little fresh seafood restaurant....not fancy but damn...nothing better and eagles....did I mention the eagles? Maybe not exactly the height of luxury but very nice really and an amazing experience with no worry about the fiveO on the herb scene. We have traveled a little bit in this wondrous world but it is one of our favorite spots:-)
