Probably stress, heat, or pH issue... That is causing your potassium deficiency.

It is rare that it is caused by lack of nutrients. Did you transplant recently?... Also, check your pH and make sure it's between 6-7... and that the lights are not too close.

Thanks so much I'll pick up kelp meal tomorrow. Ph is good 6.8 I am using RO drinking water. In super soil kit from buildasoil.com. I was having drainage problems added extra perlite and that is when the problems started. No heat stress 1200 watts led never had heat problems Temps are 68% to 72% humidity is 40 to 50. Do you think the perlite caused the problem? It came out of nowhere

If you just transplanted, then yes... I think that was the problem... transplant stress can cause this issue.

If so, it probably will clear up by itself, but a little kelp never hurt anyone.:)

Are you sure it's potassium deficiency?
Sounds like it could be a cal mag issue based on the RO water, or you might not be letting the soil dry completely out between waterings.

Overwatering is the number one problem for new growers. I even do it myself sometimes.

Best of luck. Peace

Look at modularhydro on YouTube it's not over watering i use this system. But may be cal mag but as i said I'm new. I did think so at first but the blackening made me think think potassium and i have dealt with cal mag before and tried adding has made no change only getting worse

Pix, descriptions of environmental and growing conditions including pH, RH and temps, as well as lighting. Because they ALL play a role here and since you're so new I personally am not convinced that you've correctly Dx'd the problem. Of course, without pix...

That was my next guess as soon as that RO came up. The kicker is buildasoil I thought it might be pretty well rounded.

What is RH? You guys were right about ph I need a new pen need to lower ph in soil? Should I just add WC? Still have not picked up kelp me but i will this weekend my girls look sick a lot of them not all but half. Should i still do kelp should i flush they are to far along to transplant I think going to be a bad harvest. I thought I was getting better last run but this one is bad. I just can't get it right. It's always something but I keep trying and will continue to

If it's high PH ,then the Kelp is going to do nothing for that.
You need to lower your ph.
