Powdery mildew or am I paranoid.

Yes I definitely can confirm insect damage. I was treating with neem oil throughout veg and wiping the leaves during the first week of flower. Iv been hands on with it every day and only seen maybe 5 bugs. Even when looking with the microscope I see no webbing and no eggs or insects. Here are some current photos. Be careful with that neem oil don’t get any on the buds it makes them taste horrible & can’t be washed off & I agree with roadkill

Yea I didn’t do any spraying once flowering started. I did wipe the fan leaves with it on a paper towel but I was certain not to go anywhere near the starting flowers. It certainly does smell awful I couldn’t imagine smoking it.

Thank you for the feedback. I definitely could be. I’m color blind but to me it looks like there are spots that look like they have a silver like film on them beneath the trichomes.

Starting to get concerned about this place so I removed it. Also seeing some minimal webbing on one top cola. Thinking about just hiding a partial harvest now before it gets worse.

A couple of the leaf pictures you posted now suggest that you've got some WPM getting started. This is where it becomes a judgement call. Your plants do look like they would benefit if they were left to grow for another week or two ... but that much time is enough time for White Powdery Mildew to really spread and potentially ruin your harvest. Your call ... harvesting could make sense with the onset of WPM.

You probably should do an H2O2 bud wash prior to drying.

Hit it with a milk solution, if not straight milk. It'll keep it at bay so u can harvest most of it, if not all. If caught early enough, that is.

So Iv gone ahead and cut out one more tiny area with wpm along with the cola with the webbing I mentioned. I did go ahead and bud wash this small amount and it is currently drying in the HerbsNow dryer.

Other remedies include products like Nukem' by Flying Skull, or sulfur plant fungicide by Bonide. Even H2O2 sprayed on the spots can help slow it down. If the plants were in a greenhouse, you could also use a greenhouse sulfur burner.

I've never completely won this battle but I have managed to slow things down enough that I could harvest a crop. It hits your yield a bit because you should pitch buds that have been infected. Wash the others like you did with your little sample.

I’m planning to monitor everything daily. I don’t want to use any products at this point. There were only 3 spots the size of a pencil eraser. I’m hoping I can make it one more week with no more loss.

WPM is easily transferred from your fingertips so be careful and wash up before handling another plant.

I don't put anything wet on my flower. I live in Michigan though. The air is wet enough here with average summer humidity of 72%. I have never used milk on WPM personally so I'm not trying to claim how it should be used other than I won't wet down my flowers. It seems to make things worse here where I live.

I have used the Nukem and the Bonide's. I also use a sulfur burner in my greenhouse. The sulfur burner seems to be the most effective especially as a preventative treatement.
