I can't imagine you having idle hands that way. I think soilless with GH Flora 3-part (total control of what the plant is getting) would be more fun for you.

But, it's good to try different things.

If you go with fox farm, add perlite. (I'd say 50%). But, I'm less of a fortified soil person, more of a feed everything each watering. Maybe having more perlite with a rich soil isn't the right thing to do. You should look into that before doing it.

Only way to master the way is trial and error and learn from them and apply what u learned from those mistakes to the next grow i.m.o and tons of research
