Skummy is that a re-veg or just throwing the single blades? My Katsu always threw the single blade leaves....

Its always throwing the single leafs when I throw it under the 600's the single turns into a three bladed very quick...
My cut is from the homie swerve been rockin her dor about 5-6 years... Ever since I smoked pre 98 with Chemdog I was hooked and been growing it ever since...

Ive gotten her to grow a few different ways..... I like her to just do her thing I will trim the bottoms but thats about it!

I grew Pre-98...the green Bubba pheno...katsu....and organkid S-1's years an years ago and didn't see all that much difference in any of em. All of em grow and taste..like..um...Bubba....with only slight variations...IMO.

Not a fav here. I kept growing the different phenos/cuts hopin something different would show up...but nope...just more BubbaKush....with the same taste/high.

I have flowered this cut of what I guess is Regular Bubba Kush
and recently was able to get my hands on some Pre 98 bubba.

The leaves on the pre 98 are smaller than the Bubba I have been running
and it doesnt seem as bushy...internodes are further apart

I will try to get a better pic..Pre 98 in back......Reg. Bubba in front

I think you figured this one out Higher. Dirtywhiteboy that is the one. Though i understand where people are coming from when genotype shows differences. But like the XXX og the Bubba is so distinct, you know when you see her, even in veg. Can spot those thing from a mile...or at least 4 rows over in the garden.

I got my cut (Reg. BK) from harborside in oakland almost 2 years ago.
its always has large cola's

I did grow a small Pre 98 clone that I got from the good folks from Avalon in L.B.

i got a couple seeds gifted to me that say... bubba x bubba ..gonna have to pop them and see what i get...:D...i have a bubba cross in my garden now..she is crossed a couple times and still rocks that dark bubba smell..and i mean stink up the joint

Not trying to hijack your thread, higher solutions, but this seems to be a good spot for input from people with 98/Bubba/Katsu experience. I got some beans from a friend who is a friend of a breeder. I was told the lineage was (pre-98 katsu bubba kush) x (strawberry cough x pure kush. A couple questions. First, the female in the parent is listed first, right? I've heard of pre-98 bubba, but not of pre-98 kbk. Anyone? Also, does anyone have underneath veg pics? I haven't grown the widest variety of strains... I've seen tight node spacing, but never tight branch spacing as well. The branches don't spread further than a couple inches from the main stem.
Here are a couple pics, including one of the branch a smaller plant I recently threw into flower. Thanks!

Bubba Kush Katsu cut in the pic. Yours does not look like Bubba from the pics I've seen posted up but grow it out again bigger usually the leaf structure is a dead give away.
