The plants release auxins and hormones etc, some triggered/aided/curbed by photoperiod, extending hours of light will slow/stop the degree of certain ones, some plants.ex autos don't rely on it. There are short day and long day plants. How can extra light during veg flip the plants if extra light during a false flowering would turn it back to vegging? I thought light leaks only affect flowering plants.
She has them in a window plus the light... @SunshineSupergirl did you block the window yet? What times are your lights on and how does that line up with the changing sunrise and sunset times? I personally would just let it ride, going 24 hours of light and trying to reveg is just gonna put more stress on the one that is doing OK and possibly cause it to herm out or something cause it's already been through a lot. My vote it still that the little ones are autos... just cause they were supposed to be photos doesn't mean they are, mixups happen all the time.that flowering seedling has already gone through a reveg or major stress i can see it,
you definitely have light issues.. if your timer is correct, than there’s a light leak getting into the space, could be as simple as a little led light on a fan, humidifier, extension cord, etc..
or possibly an auto flowering plant also that has been stressed out..
there are no other reasons why..
It Doesn't it make sense that it has anything to do with light, since the other plant didn't go to flower... No honestly it's it's definitely got to be distress I mean cuz that's that's the one thing that I can see and that I know that happened was stress.that flowering seedling has already gone through a reveg or major stress i can see it,

Well that's just it.She has them in a window plus the light... @SunshineSupergirl did you block the window yet? No I'm still getting 18 hours of light.that flowering seedling has already gone through a reveg or major stress i can see it,

Interesting. The plants release auxins and hormones etc, some triggered/aided/curbed by photoperiod, extending hours of light will slow/stop the degree of certain ones, some plants.ex autos don't rely on it. There are short day and long day plants.
Good question. When Trying to re-veg a plant like this, do you top the plant to get rid of the forming flower and then put it under 24 hours? Or just leave it? Or does it make any difference?
you leave the floral tissue and later after the revegg remove it because the plant will discard it. but initially it will draw energy fron it and grow leaves out of the inner partsGood question.
whatever happened to them was done at least 3 weeks ago or so..It Doesn't it make sense that it has anything to do with light, since the other plant didn't go to flower... No honestly it's it's definitely got to be distress I mean cuz that's that's the one thing that I can see and that I know that happened was stress.
Or they very well could be auto flowers and Grower's Choice, just dropped the ball and didn't want to admit that they sent auto flowers by mistake.
They're doing okay now so I guess there's nothing I can really do except just to watch how they live keep feeding them properly and keep giving them enough light.
All my plants have experienced 18 hour days.
It is a little boggling to mind for sure.
Yeah in my Growing Journal, I mentioned the stress.whatever happened to them was done at least 3 weeks ago or so..
That's not really THAT old though.Keep in mind, these plants are getting pretty old. Probably at least two months.
Well they're all growing now so honestly I'm just going to see what happens.@SunshineSupergirl I had one that did something similar last year, for no real reason. Stayed super small and started one bud right on top. No issues with any of the others, no stress at that point, we weren't even outside yet, no light issues... I decided it was either a mutant or an auto... either way I put it out of it's misery cause it was to weird to live and I have too many living things to tend to. I feel like more light might mean more stress, and that's not what they need. Just let it ride and focus on the one that's growing.
EXCELSIOR!Right on Supergirl! Run them till the end! And listen to TSD. She knows her shit! You learn from your mistakes and get better and better. I’ve killed more plants in the last few Years than you will ever think about growing! Onward and upward!
