Preventing mites with nutrient solution.

Can’t find post about it, probably not wording it right. But I’m asking about something I can put in my nutrient water to help prevent mites and other pests.

Probably better off just getting or making a product to do that by itself.....ie. spinosad or insecticidal soap or some other product. None are too expensive.....well spinosad can be but not the stuff you get a box store

I'm hoping that adding a bit of H2O2 to my reservoir (DTW) will prevent various issues, including root rot. It did clear up an algae problem. I put 25ml of 33% H2O2 in 10 gallons of water.

Make some clear rez with sodium hypochlorite (liquid pool shock) 2.75ml to a liter of distilled water if i remember correctly. 5ml per 5 gallons every couple days. If thats your goal you need to be completely sterile otherwise youre just fighting yourself.
