Idle Hands

I am currently using a segmentated timer to run a 600watt light with a contactor relay (can be used up to 1.6k watts), the problem is that the timers keeps on failing, I have tried a few and some run slow and out of time, and some don't turn on or off?!

Have i just had bad luck or am i not using the right equipment?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!?

when timers fail it is usually because you overloaded the timer once the timer kicked on.

was it the 1st time you used the timer?

we have blown out many timers. and grasslin are the ones that work and can hold more power ..

s4m,
Do you know of anybody who carries these timers in the US? They look really nice.
