I dont know guys....What should I do with this batch? What exactly does Scrogging entail? Wouldn't just be the same thing as what Im doing now but with a screen? Would that increase my yields any? I understand Scrogging is having more plants and lower veg time but does the screen actually help any?

Im all suggestions.
I mean, Im happy with my frist batch. Which are still actually flowering, but im sure I could have yielded more.
So for this next run I really want to get as much out of them as I can.
Any tips!?

Hmmm scrog is a little harder for the novice
Its not about higher plant number n lower veg time, your thinkin Sog,sea of green
Scrog requires you training your plant to actual grow and weave itself on the net before you even flip.
you train the plant to take on a more horizontal look by weaving it through the net, and when its said n done you usually have one big ass plant with many many buds growing all along the screen solely instead of getting that vertical growth with untrained plants.

this is a good example of scrog, homieput in alot or work to get that going.

being a beginner i would really just get the basics down make sure there green and happy as hell.
But noone is patient me being one to so if your gonna train make it easy on yourself, just top, super crop, and grow some the regular way. By the time you harvest you'll really know which technique to stick to. Everyones setup n strain is dif in so many ways you just have to test it out for yourself to see whats up, im doing the same shit brotha lol

And sorry man, I forgot to reply to my buddy!

The dryers going good I guess. They're just sitting in there. Not ready yet, cuz I can still bend the stems. So a couple more days I guess. I'll try brown bagging them too like people suggested.

Day 53
Look at the difference between these two plants!!!
There's the smallest yielder of them all vs the biggest.
I dont know what the difference was between the two but hopefully by topping and LST my next batch will all be like the bigger one!

Picture1
The two side by side. Smallest and Biggest.

Picture2
One Giant Cola! Vs!.....

Picture3
One Stem! haha.

Picture4
Just a random bud shot I thought was very pretty!!
From one of the other plants.

Hey doc you def give allot of great knowledge up thanks man.
I only ph and I bought a ppm reader but using house and garden they don't give you a ppm chart so I don't know what to compare off of?

when I started my first grow a few months back I was writing everything down and trying to keep a daily log, but with me doing all stages at once and doing a perpetual grow there were to many things to keep track of so I decided to just make sure I go by h & g food chart, ph, and watch for any inconsistencies. Now I'm on my second grow and am learning so much and have a good hold on things. anyway with the ramble
2 questions
what do i compare my ppms with using h & g aqua flakes?
and how do you keep a detailed journal?

Hey producer, nice setup. You really should monitor ppms/ec and let your plants tell you what they need. Honestly, your plants look nutrient burnt. They are super green indicating almost a nitrogen toxicity and a bunch of burnt leaves. The discrepancy in the flowering size is likely that one clone handled it a lot better than the others.

You dont compare your ppms to anything, maybe a chart would help give you a range but fact is there most likely gonna give you high ppms so you can buy more juice

As for taking a log just keep a close eye on them everyday, things dont go down hill over night, so you always wanna be very aware there health compared to the days before when they were looking healthy. n keep a record of your feeding info like ppms, ph days you had to flush so you can keep track n know exactly where, when and why they might be going down hill, hope that helped

My opinion I start off at about 600 ppms in veg n top out at 1100 for about a week only in mid flowering and youve seen my big ass girls. Ive taken my ppms and just seen problems arise with nutrient lockout and the tips of leaves burning(usually a sign of over fert.)

Pheno has put it out there pretty blunt hes absolutely right about your girls being over fed with nutrition, your in coco so little different rules apply to you than me, Im under the impression theres usually more flushing involved with coco/soil. Ive seen alot of people that feed, feed, then third day they flush to keep from salt build ups

Thats why you gotta start low with your ppms and rise em up from there, If you see any problems come about from that than you gotta lower them back down n do a good flush so they'll actually take in your nutrition, n get to being healthy again.

Take this advice, your girls will be much more healthy, n your yield is really going to def bump up this run brotha

another big thing i forgot to mention
check your run off water when your flushing thats a HUGE thing ppl leave out

It will tell you more about the ph n ppms in your medium, n based on these readings you can really pin point alot of problems and take care of them.
