I had two ideas which are probably ridiculous but might be worthy of some discussional merit.

Problem: We want our buds to keep growing bigger and not finish.

Idea 1: What would the effect of turning on 18-20 hours of light on a flowering plant that is in its last week of flowering?
Would it be too far flowering to revert back to vegging(non bud producing) mode? Would it use the extra light to grow more bud?
It may delay the ripening a little, but would it be stuck in heavy bud production mode(last 1-2 weeks of flowering).
The plant could always be harvested before any negative side effects occur. Perhaps this might only be viable in the last 48-72 hours of the plant?

Idea 2: ah damn.. while writing part one.. I forgot idea two..
OH wait. CO2. Alot of people are saying high CO2 during the last week is bad as it stops the plant from finishing. Is this not a good thing though if its in a mode of high bud production?

Both these ideas are more aimed at cash croppers.

Anyone any other ideas along the same goal?
