Hi everyone first time participating in this BUT have almost 2 years solid experience but having new problems I have not come across yet.

I been growing for a while but just switched to Promix HP with earthworm castings, additional perlite, bat shit and azomite... had no problems first time around but now seeing issues happening.

plants are yellowing and canoeing in areas but strange to my experience. Also seeing the fingers cross in other areas as well as some leaves twisting. I would like to correct this issue so I can place in bloom for they are quite ready to switch over. I have an exhaust going constantly, remains around 76-78 degrees and 40% humidity. PH is at 6.0-6.1 when feeding (did experiment with mix-prior to watering, i used smaller cup to determine PH change after draining and PH did not fluctuate barely at all).

Kind LED 600 about 2'-3' from canopy and watering using Ionic and cal-mag about 1/3 amount every other feeding at this point. Plants are just above 2' tall in 5 gal pots and take about 8 cups to fulfill pot and about 3-4 days until following feeding. Using the Kinds full spectrum for the vegging in hopes to change light cycle soon. no drainage yet, any more than 8 cups will drain out but just began adding nutrients along with what is in soil already. I used slightly less earthworm castings than recommended and the recommended amount of bat shit. From last experience I did not have to use any vegging nutrients based off what was in soil already but they have been in this environment for a while now So figured it was OK to apply Ionic and Cal-Mag based on looks of deficiencies.

I hope the light does not effect the visual. I can use other light if need be.

Anyone experienced with Promix HP?

if they are yellow they want nitrogen, if the stems are purple they want mag, if the leaves are spinning like that they want cal. flush then feed. don't under-do it though. they may have hit a growth spurt and sucked a good amount of cal/mag and nitrogen to use..

another light would be much better lol.ionic calmag and promix, run the nutes at 500ppm ionic and 200 calmag.use the calmag only about every 3rd or 4th watering.use the ionic every time you water.bring your rh up to 50-60% until the buds get dense then i would drop back to 40%.
but get us some better pics in normal lighting.peace and welcome to the site :)

thanks I will get some other pics tonight right after lights go out. And I believe that they may have hit a growth spurt because they have grown a bit. I have increased Ionic slightly as well as cal-mag hoping that is what they needed since I relied on the soil mix alone for a while and seemed to do the trick. I fed same dosage twice (feed, feed, water with molasses) and they are looking much better.

since the post they have bounced back much better but will still bring rh up more but not really sure about the ppm since i dont have a tester for it yet.

It is now third day in bloom and takes 3 days tops for each feeding at 8 cups still, may increase that soon as they grow some more.

Also between the feed and water, I trimmed all under nodes on all plants. didn't give them a wild hair cut but just took their skirts off basically. any more cleaning up will be done seldomly so I dont shock them much.

speaking of, how is a good rule of thumb when cleaning them up during bloom from suckers?

really use IONIC each time? granted its only 25-30% mix...

yeah if you follow the llink in my sig line to page 1 thru 3 or 4 all those pics (well prolly 90%)are plants run on ionic and promix fed every day @ 600-800ppm sometimes a lil higher if something looks hungry.

those are a hefty bunch indeed! Very nice

Are you familiar with a ml-to-ppm conversion I could use? I do not own anything to monitor the ppm yet so maybe if you're familiar with how much per gallon that comes out to...

and how will that affect the amount of PK boost that will also be implemented?

fyi i'll have better pictures within the hour...

yeah man the ionic is super simple to use.in veg i use 1 cap(from the bottle and without spilling its about 7-8ml)for new cuts and seeds and ramp up to 1-1/2 caps of grow for bigger veg plants.once they hit flower i use 2 caps bloom and 2x a week i will add a cap of the boost.but in my setup i feeed every day so they are getting 7x bloom and 2 x boost each week.i also run thier fossilfuel(humic acid) during bloom about 3x a week, same deal just a full cap added to whatever mix im using that day.with r/o water the ionic makes my ph almost perfect @6.2 so theres no fussing with the ph.

just want to add if your not using r/o i would need to know what your water is like to adjust those feeeds.peace

here is an update under better lighting

No RO... But from what I understand it is about 100-140

How do you get away with feeding them everyday? and at 2 capfulls ( 14-16 ml) per gal seems like a lot each time, unless I didnt follow that correctly.

Well i just put 2 full caps of bloom in a gal of ro and it reads .9ec or 450ppm add the boost and it hits about 1.1ec or 550ppm.i would go for 3/4 caps with that water.but not knowing what is in your water might make fixing plants more difficult lol.you should get a water test done or switch to r/o imo.plants dont look too bad now.try my feeds for a while and see if they look better.

I'll give that a shot, thanks man.

so if your in Promix as well, how can you water everyday?

Well if you seen my roots you would know how thirsty my bitchs are lol.its my longer tedious veg practices.cuts and seeds go into solo cups till they are Rootbound and require watering 2x a day .then they go to 2 gal square pots till they are doing the same.then into 7 or 10 gal pots and vegged until they are drinking 1 gal a day.then i put em into flower so prolly averaging 12 weeks of veg or more sometimes 16.i only water till they feel heavy,no runoff cept for in the solo cups those fuckerz leak all over just about every time a water lol.but in my setup veg times are a non factor because i run perpetual and both veg and bloom run 365 days a year.when i cut a plant in flower i always have more than one to choose from so like last week i cut 3 and had 3 nice plants ready in waiting.got a lil room back in veg but it will be gone quick cause the more room you give em the quicker they fill out. :)

So I just picked up a bluelab ppm pen that also measures EC as well. I always heard the EC is the preferred method of measuring so I would like to try out the mix you suggested. would you mind breaking it down into how much Hygrozyme, Cal-Mag, PK Boost, fossil fuel (humic acid) & Ionic Bloom to mix in for best results in regards to either ppm and/or EC levels for each?

I understand your plant regimen is daily to where I feed every three days so maybe that to be considered. Now that I have this pen I would like to become more consistent with feedings as well as record how each strain handles them.

Sorry i didnt answer your pm but its exactly whats posted here so ill just answer here.first off when you say you feed every 3 days does that mean you use water only the other 2 days or your just watering/feeding every 3 days with nothing in between?
You wont need hydrozyme in soil.when i did use nitrozyme in promix i only use it during last 2 weeks or week 8 and 9 and i used it as a stand alone flush.nothing but 2 caps or about 15ml per gal.now that i think about it my plants looked pretty good at chop,i should go back to that lol.
So during flower on "feed day"which is every day so you'll have to figure out your own routine, i would use the bloom and some fossil fuel every day.then along with that maybe every 3rd or 4th day toss in a 3/4 cap of bloom.and me having ro water would use 7ml per gal calmag 1 x a week for wk 1 thru 6.but your on tap so i suggest not using the calmag unless your plants look like they need it.i dont even use calmag very often now unless something needs fixing.im running jacks classic and it dont have cal but plenty of mag.
Anyhow i talked about hitting 600 + ppm which is 1.2 ec using the .5 hanna conversion but never mind that just shoot for a target ec of around 1.0 to 1.2 on days when your using bloom and ff and ec will probably be around 1.3 to 1.5 when your adding the boost.but you will have to do some adjusting with ml of nutes being that your water and mine are much different.
The reason i like using ionic was how easy it was for me to just use 2 caps bloom.3/4 cap ff shake it and dump
Plants loved it in all types promix and even coco.i did use calmag more in coco prolly closer to 3 x a week with daily feeds.but idk how else to describe doses and our setups are much dif im sure.
Watts per sq ft and temps/humidity will play a huge part in how much your plants will eat or need.
Lemme know if you have any more questions, peace
