So I hear from some sources that with coco you have to feed and water daily or multiple times daily. But than others say water once every few days or when inch of top is dry. I'm so confused. One plant I have giaga green organic dry Amendments mixed in... 1 has castings And an autoflower Super Soil concentrate added to coco coir peat moss mix yadayadayada. And one is being fed with hopwood farms dry feed for autos. I'm confused as to how often to water and just got over some n toxicity but now I'm stuck on what to do... I also had to battle mites that I couldn't get rid of but think are gone now.. I did the first 25% run off watering after a week before transplanting and run off was 5.2 and plants were suffering N toxicity and iron/mag deficiency I was told. I did a Foliar spray after removing damaged leaves and over they are bouncing back look great. How ever I feel like they're kinda small. What should I be doing right now? The smallest is an auto at 48 days old. The other two are both 64 days old. However one is a reg auto that is now in flower as of day 58 when it began preflow. The last one is a FEM Photo period Jealousy. A few weeks ago they all were almost 100% defoliated due to pests and heat stress but after transplant and Foliar spray and low intensity for a few days and a switch in how they get light/dark and they have done major improvement but now I'm feeling like they def. Suffered should I keep veg cycle or just flip into flower what do I do.. the Jealousy lost half of side completely and split her other half into two halfs mirroring each other ..

Read this primer:

If coco is mixed with soil constituents, you are working with soil, not coco. If you mixed it yourself and addded a lot of coco, you have some weird hybrid, and you're pretty much on your own as to how to properly water it.

I worked few years with a self made mix that worked very well 30 peat 30 perlite 30coco 10 ewc and i agreee with Mystic you have to treat it like soil , a very draining soil...let it dry before rewater....

But the thing that would give me hadeaches in your case is the fact that you mixed organic dry ammendments and now you are depending on your soil life to make those nutes available, meanwhile your led setup is demanding daily heavy dose of nutrients.....and so you have un unbalanced feeding program now....

i did that mistake and i could get out i feel like organic living soil really rocks outdoor but indoor its better go mineral...now i feed mineral nutes by the ppm.....no more problems

Thank you I appreciate that. Never used living so I only tried with one plant. Which is the big one. The one photoperiod is the one getting organic dry Amendments I followed this YouTube growers recipe. As for the smallest auto I didn't add any organic dry Amendments just the EWC and topdress with hopwood farms Gro-Nutes which I over fed and caused n toxicity. But as u can see what I'm doing ain't causing no problems everything is good. I just wanted help with properly watering fucking coco

It's amazing how those plants improved.

I have no experience with coco, but it's good advice to read the plants. They can wilt a bit without being damaged, so observing that can help set the watering cycle. Lifting the pots to assess how heavy they are is another method. It also looks like you could use a soil moisture meter. The thing to remember is that these plants don't like constantly wet roots, so let them dry between waterings. Their need for water will also change as they go through their life cycle. So, for example, bigger plants will transpire (i.e., give off water vapor through their stomata) more than smaller plants, so they'll use more water as they grow.

So last time I was here I was asking for advice, tips, feedback or w/e over proper watering techniques for growing cannabis in coco coir as the main ingredient choice as growing medium in fabric pots... or in general actually.
I threw up some shots(pics) of w/ a quick rundown of what soiless media blends and what they were made up of w/ a brief summary of their young, early yet almost devasting history from which they amazingly bounced back from. However still lacked lots of knowledge plus needed help getting on track, hopefully on a solid track, a road to success!
I got way less than I hoped from the community. If anything, I received more negativity, wack comments and opinions than I did anything useful or helpful. But that's the internet for you, specially Forums in today's day and age!
I still want to say Thank You, to everyone who took some time out to read my shit and reply with anything. Still spent time out of your day on me and my grow so thanks.
TO ANYONE THAT WAS ROOTING FOR ME AND HOPING MY GROW DOES WELL HERE IS AN UPDATE OF THESE BITCHES. Enjoy!!!

below is my "mother" plant. Crazy she was only half a plant. Lost ALL foliage, revegged growing only 1 half of herself. After careful, tedious and scary "Mainlining & Manifolding"( I read up lots about and tried myself, I created this beautiful Green Ring of Life that I was forced to stop where she's at due to limited space, no room to give her more room to grow, and no longer continue to TOP or FIM her accordingly or continue to LST her flat, growing out further from each branch by continuing mainline and manifold letting the ring get bigger or till I was done lol. I had cleaning up to do and needed a MAJOR defoliation. Felt like I was getting lost in a jungle tryna adjust LST Clips or my tie down spots. So I attempted in taking cuttings and establish root systems rather than just toss what I removed when defoliating her. 1st try was a joke not enough research done on my part and lack of proper materials for good propagation. So I didn't take pix of that laughable failure but after doing some few nights worth of research and properly preparing for a clean sanitized and successful cloning job, I was able to successfully clone one plant, and I have 15 currently in propagation awaiting root to pop out and than transplant into solos for a week before into 1st pots.

Out the gate is shot out the most beautifully perfectly symmetrical fully serrated lusciously colored rapid growing and already stinky as fuck strain that for my first time experienced genetics that were speaking for themselves. This cat Piss is got me wishing I could go into the future just to see what the end results r with this FEM photo. Leafs bigger than my hands and so young @ 40 days old about 19 days in Vegļæ¼ļæ¼ļæ¼ļæ¼

Last in my pheno#2 of Auto Blue Amnesia @ 73 days old in Veg for 52 days. Pheno#1 began pre-flower on day 58 so well see... I know it needs major defol. Don't know how to go about it I think it had too much N cuz it's growth was overabundantly overwhelming to manage so LST has came to a hault till after defol. But it's an Auto and I've already stunted it early on fighting bugs as well. So help plz lol
