I'm waiting for my own girls to finish flowering (wk9 now) and have been smoking some buds from another grower/seller for a week now and today I noticed puffs of smoke come out of the larger buds when breaking them down to go in the grinder. So, what could it be? I say mold but the dealer says he doesn't think so but he doesn't know what it is though...I'm not too worried that I've been smoking it but hopefully it hasn't/isn't going to cause an issue in my grow...

That's worrisome. Do you have a loop? I think it's either mold or extremely dirty, neither is good. I'm guessing mold which should be visible under a loop.
