Pungent old strains around 8 15 years

Hello everyone! I'm new here, ive been growing almost 10 years and smoke 15.. and i want to ask, wnder if it is just me, or genétics has been changed soo much. In My early smoke age ive been tasted strains like WW, Moby, Mazar, blueberry, PCK, SSH, destroyer, panamá red, Jack herer or "My first" bud was g13x hp, i cannot forget those strains, and more.. high without paranoia or a very stone high that led You in a comatose state, Even labeled for example "70 sativa 30 indica" is highly narcotic and not enjoyable.. Some of them with HIGH pungent smells, that You can smell 200 mts Even in a ziploc or super sticky, some smells or terps that i almost or never SEE again outhere.. like Woody sandal, plectranthrus plant smells, pungent grape skunk tonces, tasty rotten fruits, coffee hope beer Funky taste, fruity metalic/plastic funk, meaty weird smells, a special súper strongest sour sometimes earthy sour very tasteful, high garlic earthy smell too.. almost never tasted buds like those in that years.
Now we can get those strains but isnt the same, maybe You can find a little pungent or familiar undertone theres, but nothing like that.. and the new ones are Nice but it's like are all the same terps profile, like sugar, fruit, cake or desserts, got plenty of crosses with cookies and cake, and all hits very similar.. anyone knows whats happening or where is the most trustable source to get old schools genétics?
Or most of the cuts are Lost and never be the same again? Oh man, can forgot those smells like g13xhp or Master kush..

Lost strains are two a dozen

There will be some old dude that has a load but imo unless you’ve saved beans from the 80s you’ll be hard pushed to find them

I went on a cheese hunt for ages none not one had that stinking cheese smell or cheesy taste did the same with bubble gum all turned out fruity & nothing like bubble gum
there so many I never got to try before they got lost
I brought some silver pearl from greenhouse with them saying it was the silver pearl from back in the day lol it wasn’t

After a good toke last night I was thinking the same thing, there's so much domestic manipulation going on with cannabis that we are probably going to fuck it up.

And my idea to address that is for a collective of concerned cannabis lovers to pool their resources to buy an entire valley of about 3,000 acres and designate it as a cannabis nature preserve where weed would be managed through restocking and seeding of all known landrace strains but mostly left to propagate in the wild. Seeds collected from there would then be provided to Svalbard.

Sorry for late response. So the only way its to get 20-40 yrs old seeds? Some people said clones and mothers changes with the time too.. Even if you preserve that seeds, whats the germ rate?
The closest thing ive have was seeds from a brickweed, that sometimes gives monster plants with some of that special skunky coffee, etc smell.. I hope doesnt manipulate weed too far to became Marlboro. But lately all the highs and taste are almost the same and smells are not too pungent.. and im talking only 8-15 yrs ago, cant imagine more.
I taste cheese one time and it was beautiful, that kind of dense cheese, have some of superskunk smll there. Thats a good one, now i want to grow some cheese, or cheese uk?
Used to have now Cheeta píss, some Moby dicks growing now. But man i miss those smells.. Hope they bring back.
