How do you heat seal these?@SunshineSupergirl if you have any questions about the Grove Bags just let me know! As @sambapati said I'm an official convert :)
Final trim -> straight into a Grove Bag. Heat seal for best results. The longer they get stored the better and people claim up to 2+ years of freshness if heat sealed. They can be re-used about 4 or 5 times depending on how precise you get with your heat seals and cuts.

I'd say a flat iron would work pretty well. How do you heat seal these?
Hmm don't have one of those.I'd say a flat iron would work pretty well.
Hmm don't have one of those.
Wouldn't that melt the plastic grove bag?
They are made of plastic right?
Also:
Do I need buy additional humidity packs to go inside the Grove bags?
I think if you turned it down and just did a quick squeeze along the edge it would just stick together. I've used that to reseal plastic packaging before... I'm sure there's an actual heat sealer you can buy lol.Hmm don't have one of those.

So what happens if you need to open it to get some weed out to smoke?I think if you turned it down and just did a quick squeeze along the edge it would just stick together. I've used that to reseal plastic packaging before... I'm sure there's an actual heat sealer you can buy lol.
You have to cut a strip off... that's why if you heat seal, just do a small bit... I didn't heatseal any of mine, just used the zippers and stored them in a plastic cooler, in a dark closet, in a cool room.So what happens if you need to open it to get some weed out to smoke?

I think I'm going to stick with the mason jars.Hmm.
Well seems like a good option vs Mason jars, but mason jars are pretty.
DRY TIME!Well, we had a good run.
Rest in Peace

Today is the day of HARVEST
Ready, to Hang her up and dry.
Sadly, I lost some of the buds, due to mold development on the colas.
The 45ยฐ waterkinda did her in too soon. I think 60ยฐ would have been better and I should have started sooner to bring out the PURPLE.
Kinda Dissapointed in the end, but also very grateful that she made it this far.
The GOOD NEWS is there's plenty of good Haze to HARVEST!
I will be putting her in the dark and after everything is strung up on the line, I will put the fan on low and let her sit in there and watch the humidity and then see how everything goes.
REALLY IMPRESSED with the TRICHOMES!
A lot of good quality Bud to harvest still and hopefully it will be a good smoke and I will be able to give most of this away as I originally planned.
This first time growing marijuana has taught me many things and I have learned from so many people on this forum and in many other places.
I am very thankful and grateful to the universe for the opportunity to experience this.
I will take the wisdom and knowledge that I have learned and apply it to my next grow.
I will be using my spider farmer light in addition to my maglong and I will be starting over again pretty soon with new girls!
But for now, this is the end of this journal.
Although I will post a few more pictures of the actual harvest and the curing.
I leave you now with these pictures and wonderful memories.
Lessons Learned and Looking forward to the FUTURE!
That's completely dried out soil. Can you remove the bags of soil, they could be increasing humidity in there.
U should know diabloGet them dried and curing. Then get going on your next grow! No rest for the wicked! L O L
I'll need some seeds.Get them dried and curing. Then get going on your next grow! No rest for the wicked! L O L
It doesn't have to be purple but I really do enjoy seeing pretty colors besides green. Now Donโt get myopic! Maybe you would rather grow one that smells like oranges. Or lemons. L O L. Have fun with your purples.
