Hey fam I’m kicking off a new grow journal covering the last week of Veg and into flower. Feel free to ask any questions about my grow. I’ll be going back into my custom 2x8 ft closet grow space. I really like this bc I worked to make it what it is I didn’t just pop a tent. It was an amazing project and I’m glad to be back in the space.
Soil/Nutes:
~Purple Cow Indicanja living soil
~Roots organics Terp Tea dry amendments
~Fish shit soil conditioner (beneficial bacteria)
~Recharge
~Kelp meal
Lights used will be the viparspectra p1500 (150 watt) and the kingbrite 240watt QB coming out to about 400 watts.

Weekend update:
Well my 2x8 closet space is filled with plants as I’ve dam near run out of grow lights as I have grows here and at my girlfriends moms so I’ll have to allocate one of my 100 watt LEDs so I can move the cloner and the 5 Black banana F2 clones out so I can flip this closet to flower come Monday! It looks like I’ll be leaving this Fastbuds Mimosa cake autoflower instead of moving it to my girlfriends moms as she got to big and flowered before I could move her. This means it will be only getting 12 hours of light come Monday. This is supposed to effect yeilds but she’s relatively a smaller plant with her buds already forming I don’t see the change in light making much of an impact. What do you think?
The white widow (right side) is the stretchiest and seen some yellow tips on the leaves indicating possible light stress. I dimmed down the led to 60% and tucked some of the branches under the net towards each side. As long as I keep main colas from growing directly under the light in it’s hot spot it seems I can leave the light closer as the main branches grow along the outer edges of the LED. Besides that everything is going smooth here and we will Flip Monday so next weekends update we will see the accelerated growth that has took place. Hey fam we are flipping this closet to flower tomorrow! I got this one timed out so I’ll be harvesting early December and by Christmas I’ll have some flavors to choose from. I also did some IPM with pure crop 1. That’s it for this week guys

Sunset sherbert and white widow
Here we are almost thru the first week of flower and the plants are stretching and growing vigorous. I top dressed with some terp tea bloom organic dry amendments and brewed up a batch of compost tea with RECHARGE, EWC, kelp meal, black strap molasses, cal/mag and watered in and they are loving it! Excited to see what kind of yields I can get this time around as I’ve grown my plants bigger and went from 3 to 5 gal.
I do have a Mimosa cake autoflower that made it into this grow and she’s in full flower mode.
I have also received my 5x5 Mars hydro tent and I’ll have my medic grow fold 8 720 watt fixture any day now so I’ll have more on that soon!! Birthday weekend is in full effect!! Take it easy farmers!!
Here we are on the last day of the second week of flower. The plants are looking amazing and this grow has been smooth sailing from the start. It’s seems we’re on autopilot now and the only thing I gotta plan is the second half of flower top dress with organic dry amendments. The lights are on full blast and we are pulling around 400+ watts. The grow in this space I’ve went from 3 to 5 gal pots and also vegged for a couple weeks longer I wanna see the difference in yield.

I also have a huge update about a project I’ve been working on so I’ll share it here first. The unveiling of my brand new Medic Grow fold 8 in a Mars hudro 5x5 with 5 “Black Bananna F2” clones. These genetics are form solfire gardens but I don’t really know much else. I’ve worked my ass off to get this going and had the clones growing in a closet a few weeks while I was getting everything together. This grow will be more focused on yield as these grows I have here are my head stash/ test grow area. I’ll be posting more about the is soon in a separate thread. I’ve come so far and I’ve only done a couple grows before this as my first seeds were popped not even a year ago on April 1. It’s the support from the farm that has got me this far along with research but whenever I’m stuck or need another angle I got you guys. Much love fam and happy Sunday! Wow time is flying here we are starting week 4 or flower already!? I did a defoliation on day 21 yesterday but tried to remove mostly the inner leaves, huge fan leaves that were overlapped, and everything that didn’t make it above the trellis net. Below I have a before and after defoliation picture.

Things are on auto pilot at this point as I’ve done the final too dress so I’m just adding compost teas once a week now. I harvested my mimosa cake autoflower and I swear I seen a spider mite with the scope but then I couldn’t find it. So I did spray pure crop 1 which seems to cause some of the hairs to curl back so im hoping to not spray anything till the end. I do bud wash using a peroxide/water solution before drying anyway.

Well here’s another update I’ll be finishing up the purple kush under my custom made led fixture I finally had time to build but I’m hella excited check it out!! I’m running a 240watt driver and plan to use this in a 2x2 eventually to really try to push the limits. Later fam
I couldn’t wait for the 2x2 I put it in the 2x8 closet over the purple kush!!! I think I should start building these and this can be the first model.

This unit features 4 photo boost strips rocking the lm301b with some cree xpg3 diodes as well. I also have 2 strips containing deep and far red creating the Emerson effect.These are the LH351H which are the very best on the market and are specifically for horticulture. I put a 240 watt mean well driver on as well.
Ok fam it’s been 6 weeks and today marks the start of the 7nth. The purple kush is looking real nice under the new light I made her but I really hoped she would turn purple but there’s still time!!

That plant is actually taking the longest to flower. It’s in the picture with 2 plants and she’s on the left. Not much to see yet but I’ll be sure to get some up close flower shots when she’s looking more developed. Ya I just ordered slurricane #7 from in house genetics and it has a purple punch parent. I’m gonna work on making some R1 crosses this next year.
Well here we are finishing up 6 weeks of flower and it looks like the white widow is done! The purple kush is gonna be a close second and the sunset sherbert is still gonna be a few weeks. This white widow is a super fast finisher apparently. That’s it for this weekend fam
End of week 6 and the White Widow appears to be done but only after 45 days of flower!? What do you guys think? Is this common? Purple kush is right behind it and the Sunset Sherb is gonna take the full 8-9 weeks.
I’ll be doing a pheno hunt of In-house genetics slurricane #7 and will be documenting the grow. I also have a punch cake seedling from elev8 genetics I’m looking forward to growing.

No flush here I do a mid flower top dress and ride that out till the end. Ya I think I’m gonna wait it out this week. I think this one faded perfectly but I’ve had to start brewing nutrient teas for the sunset sherbert who’s trying to fade too early on me.
