Hey all, having a strange coloration on 4 of my 6 plants. The tips of the new growth are purple and yellow, and curling inward. Having a tough time diagnosing.
I grow in coco/perlite. 2 gallon fabric pots. Plants are around 6-7 weeks from seed. Watered 4x a day with an auto watering/drainage system, always to run off. They never sit in run off. Feed is about 550ppm/1100ec. 5.8ph. Very white roots are growing out the sides of the pots like crazy so they seem healthy. Humidity and temps are always right where they should be. Using 3 of the 240w Kingbrite LED lights at about 3ft above the canopy. 5x5 tent. Feed per gallon is:
I'm going to take a stab. Personally I think it looks like potassium is the culprit, that would be my guess. Keep in mind this is simply an educated guess. Take the information as you will. I encourage others to offer up an opinion also.
either up or down, and I'm thinking it's a tad too much bloom right now, although I could be mistaken. Seems to me your P might even be throwing everything out of whack.
My guess is K is either high or low here, and P might be involved/interfering. Bringing up the pH a tad might help some also. ie. 6.0-6.5
How well are the roots being saturated here? Also, how often are the plants allowed to dry/cycle wet to dry... Pot size, ect. Lots of unknowns here. This could alternately be a causative factor.

That info is in the post. 2gal pots, watered 4x daily while lights are on (18/6). Always to run off.
That's definitely a possibility. I can definitely bring the ph up to 6.1. Maybe I'll cut the bloom down to .5 till I switch the lights.
Potassium issues can cause that purply rust color? I've never seen it before. Usually pretty good about figuring out what they need but this ones new to me.
I'm also wondering if 600ppm is too high since I'm feeding so often...
