Last night I was hurting so I took some sleeping aid and a pain pill only to be woke a few hours later. My pitbul,Bruit got loose and got into a fight with the farmers dog where I`m living. His daughter-in-law tryed to brake them up and got bit.The farmer`s son was holding my dog when I got there and was pissed to say the least. He said it nearly killed there dog and his wife will need stitches.I was told they want me to put my dog down and start looking for a other place to live.I just got through getting a trailor and have yet to pay for it.All my money went into fixing it up.I haven`t even the money to transfer the title and pay all the fees on it and the registeration is due this month.I also won`t be able to grow here next year on the farm.No using the sheds to fix up for indoor growing. To make things worse it`s about to start storming for at least the next to weeks.I need a new life!

Don't know what to say guy. Life sucks sometimes. You just have to keep going. I wouldn't put the dog down unless the law says you have to or unless he is a bad dog. You needed to make sure he didn't get out though.

You can still do outdoor if you are clever about it. Don't stop making plans for an outdoor season that could change your life for the better.

Thats a rough day man. sometimes things like this open up new opportunities. I love pits, but I wouldnt recommend one for your next dog. Not only do accidents like this happen to often but they are also a red flag for people with our hobby.

I agree GOD. Sometimes when they are in a fight it really wasn't their fault. There are lots of aggressive dogs out there. Ordinary dogs that nip or growl at people or other dogs. When they do this to a pit they get messed up because pits don't play when it comes to aggression.

My pit loved other dogs, cats and kids. But if some other dog flew into him it was on like Donkey Kong. If somebody, even their mother (it happened) took hold of a kid in front of him he would separate them from the kid fast and if they made another move they get nailed.

They are full-time projects. They have to be socialized and they have to be trained.

For some of us, yer talkin' about FAMILY, regardless of breed.

If you focus on responsibility you will never deal with liability.

Nothing loves you back like a pit. My pit used to go everywhere with me. Super durable on hikes and camping trips. The best all around dog I ever had. Smart, strong, fast, athletic and fun.

I do love your dog King. I need a new dog. I just can't make up my mind. I just don't know if I want a full-time job dog like a pit or an easy going, minimal responsibility dog.

You been having some bad luck Mark. Luck can change in an instant. You can help it by putting your nose to the grindstone and having a nice outdoor season.

This wasn`t his first dog fight. Last time he was chained up and the owner`s dod attacked him.My friend got bit trying to break them up but by the owner`s dog.Thing is he is just going to keep getting into fights with other dogs,it`s his nature.I will have to move into a trailor park for now as it`s going to be awhile until I can come up with enough money to buy a spot of land.I`d like it much better if I could give my dog away than put him down but it would have to be soon.I was already looking into an other possible grow site but wasn`t sure if I might stay here and grow next year or not.I gess that`s been answered for me.I`m holding on to almost my whole crop from last summer as prices are low in the flooded market here in Cali.I`m not short for smoke.I should be ok even if I don`t grow next spring but really want to find an indoor situation for breeding.I just wish I had a good place of my own! Sucks being foreclosed on!But it also sucked being ripped off every time I left the house just about. That`s why I got the dog in the first place,as part of security! He barks at everything!Just isn`t good to have around other male dogs .and I wouldn`t trust him around small children ether.

If anyone in Norcal wants him PM me but make it soon as I`m under great pressure to have him put down. It could cost me alot if county Animal Control is contacted! They could impound him at my expence because of the bite. When I got him he was a pup and had tags on but lost them.I have no way of showing he`s had his shots and cannot get ahold of the people I got him from.He was never licenced in this county.

I have to deal with ignorance like this on a near daily basis. Both of my dogs are awesome dogs, and both are pits. My son is 6 years old now, he was 4 when we got the first one. He would run across the room and jump on her. Although she was obviously in pain she would squirm out from under him with her tail wagging 100mph and playtime was on. Both were rescue dogs transported all the way from Alabama. Incredibly loyal dogs who sleep right in our bed anytime we let them.

If anybody ever said my dogs bit them, they would get a size 13 steel toe and 265lbs of force to the face before I asked them wtf they did to my dogs to get them to bite.

He was excited and in a dog fight so it happens. He doesn`t usually bite people. He does jump up on people and can scratch you with his paws.He seems to think he can fly or something. He`s very stocky and not the kind of dog you would expect to jump so much ,but he`s pretty good at jumping for such a hefty dog. Half Brendal and half white fur, ears not cropped and not fixed.Loves to fetch and lick people.Very loyal and loving.

Like I said he has no problems with female dogs but he isn`t fixed! He started out playing with the farmers dog until the other dog bit him and that`s when he first got into a fight. Now they don`t play so well anymore. There are several female dogs on the farm and he just plays with them.I wouldn`t trust him to be a gentalman if they were in heat though! He has never bread yet,but he is a healthy male dog so you get the picture.

The first pic looks more like him but he isn`t as fat and has more mussle. The second one looks more like his colouring. The brown doesn`t show up well in ether picture,it`s a brendle(brown with slight tiger strips of black/dark gary in it).
