Q for Reef. Sugarwarp in buckets vs. in ground

Does SugarWarp begin budding sooner and finish earlier if in buckets compaired to being in the ground? I know ur description says it finishes mid oct outdoors. I'm using 10 gallon containers per cutting w/ promix w/ a couple handfull of worm castings thrown in. Using Earth Juice Bloom now.
