i have been using distilled water from the local grocery store in one gallon jugs and i noticed that they have RO water their also what my question is: Will switching to RO water hurt my plants. its easyer and cheaper to fill one 5gallon jug vs. buying 5 1gallon jugs

thank you,

the ph may be different so you want to check that - but ro water wont hurt your plants - lots of growers use that...

Good RO water should also have a ph of 7.0 and will decrease when you add nutrients. I've also noticed that in hydro your ph will remain pretty stable and become predictable once you get a feel for things. Be sure to use a nutrient that is complete containing all micro/macro nutrients since RO is pure water.

Yeah you will be fine. My pH is always a solid 7.0 (most R/O is), I personally don't pH my R/O

Just make sure to check EC and pH of your R/O water; not all brands of supermarket water dispensaries work equally well.
