If I took an FPOG male and hit a landrace Colombian and made Wilmas. I grew out some of the F1's Wilmas and found a nice keeper but I don't like the smell so much. She has everything I want in all other departments though. The seeds I grew from the Colombian were all very uniform in smell. I want to change the smell of the Wilma (sweet mildew)... to something else. Either FPOG or the Colombian will do...
What are these considered:
1) Selfing the Wilma and pollinating the mother.
2) Selfing the Wilma and pollinating an awesome sister of the FPOG father.
3) Selfing awesome sister of the FPOG father and pollinating the Wilma.
Any help would be awesome thanks. Just trying to wrap my head around this.
In the meantime maybe I will pop a few more Wilmas.
