I think I will vote NO. The OLCC SCARES ME. I cannot imagine things being better than what I have with the OMMP program now. With our alcohol prices higher than all of the adjoining states, will our marijuana prices also be?

After watching the great pot debate last nite. Did anyone Think the district attorney made that women for legalization into a total idiot. ? Also reading the new law and realizing residency is not required WTF. I believe the residence of Oregon should benefit from legalization were the ones paying high taxes, fighting and voting for it . @Kendo can anyone bring in buds for sale also? How I am understanding this is a non resident can open a disp or grow facility that's insane . Am I wrong?

I relize after I said it crossing a border is federally illegal

Regardless of how the vote turns out for recreational cannabis in Oregon- the more growers that show up at the grower association meetings the better. The majority of policy making has yet to be determined so becoming a unified voice and lobbying the legislation in favor of small(er) growers is everyone's responsibility. Come and listen to what our goals are and how we can all affect the future landscape.

In other news..
The price for concentrate grams is going up in Portland I can tell you that much.
After testing, processing, and packaging- labels and all- the cost of getting quality meds to market is pushing prices up.

Where are and when are the meeting? This law is ridiculous ? Greed

It is important for medical marijuana patients to note that Measure 91, when passed, will not change nor effect the current medical marijuana law in Oregon. Measure 91 taxes will not be charged for people with an Oregon medical marijuana permit. - See more at:
You can't know that because if measure 91 passes they have a year to determine what the policy will be. I'm quite confident they won't be asking for our input.

I went to recreational shop to buy 4 grms they charged me 120$ i said hell no. when do u guys think price will gp down? Wa st.

seriously i'm not trying to b a douche but thats still... 20 30 bucks overpriced i mean it would have to be like 30% thc weed. or some rainbow colored nug thats nothing but hairs. i think if it was around 10.00-12.50$ bucks overpriced i would buy the recreational weed from a shop in the state. 10 bucks over isn't gonna break people . but more then that could hinder your growth in customers, or customers attitude toward shop, and word of mouth. i think the state needs to go back to the drawing board. not trying to offend anyone.

I got some crappy gsc in cali for 20/g lol it was sh*t!! lol I encourage everyone to vote NO. already hearing about WA growers who will be setting up shop in Oregon so they can move their crappy meds and avoid all the WA taxes if Oregon goes Legal Recreational. Make no mistake that Prices will skyrocket if OLCC gets their hands in this. Crappy meds grown by NOOBS sold to the public.. That's NOT what ORegon is about.

Was just reading. They have til jan 5 th to outline laws and take applications Nov 22 and 23 there is a conference with attorneys and all licensing material etc. everything U want to know about grow op or disp. In Oregon. 2 day seminar in Portland. 300 for 2 days. Don't drag your feet Next one is in Feb. after apps are being taken. Course all depends on what the vote is. At least I will understand what's going on.

They are going to price like liquor what I read. Beer is cheaper. Whiskey. More. Thc will be how they price. The higher the thc the more price. M

Been talking to a couple growers myself and we were all talking about prices according to thc per gram lol stronger strains = more $$$... seems so simple lol

This is through the OCI yes? ....I may attend as well....Not that I have any grand plans... but I enjoy my niche and plan on evolving to stay compliant....

Yes Oregon cannabis institute. I am concerned about renewing my license. Medical is suppose to stay the same. But don't like the idea of OLC making checks wonder how involved into medical they will go is the question.
