Ive found to keep the PPMs low and dont add all kinds of supplements besides grow/bloom/cal/mag/and beneficial bacteria. I use southern ag.

With a plant that new id keep the ppm around 300 for a couple more weeks. Check PH daily and adjust to ~5.7

I run DWC also, I use the cheap general hydro maxi nutes. Im also pretty much where you are. My roots just touched water. Keep it up, looks good

She's responding good to 400 ppms and 6-6.5 pH, although I'm probably running into heat stress since I only got 1 fan in there

First one VERY important bit of info.

You CANNOT use lux to measure a blurple light. Lux primarily reads green light. So you need to use a conversion.

15K lux on a quality LED would be around 270ish PPFD.

Now on a blurple light 15K would be around 1330 PPFD. which is more than most fully mature plants can handle for only 12hrs nevermind 18+

For lux with a blurple I'd say around 200-300 PPFD should be close. Which under blurple is about 2500-3500 Lux maximum.

Ph IMO should be around 5.6-6.0 and should only drift up about 0.2 per 24 hrs. If it's more you need to add a ph buffer to stabilize it and if using RO that will almost certainly be the case.

What's the water level in relation to the net pot?

IMO all your issues are related to over lighting the plant. Less is always better than more and easier to fix with pretty much everything.

You also want to use both red and blue lights if it has switches

You will want to remove any leaves that are resting on the hydroton or lid.

I'll stop there .

Well that's a good piece of knowledge I had no idea about that lux meter stuff. Def gonna play around with that today, and I have been pruning leafs that ain't getting much light. For my pH it dont really fluctuate that much probably gotta mess with it once every 2 days making sure it's consistently around 6. Thanks for the heads up bro greatly appreciate it

Imo 6 is to high for early veg. When mine hits 6 I PH down to 5.5-5.6 and let it drift back up again.

So imma offer some advice for ya. I'm watching your grow and to be blunt, it's slow growth... Very slow.

Your tight node spacing says its getting enough light, yet why are the leafs so dark and heavy? I added my picture of tight node spacing, yet my leafs are so thin and very light green. My growth rates blow most people's minds. Im still under a year experience but I don't fuck around lol.

I ran 5 different strains all in the same nutrient solution. The one inch tap root got 225ppm of flora trio with calmag and hydroguard. You know what all 5 of my strains had in common during their first two weeks.. All light green stems with no red to them, and all my fan leafs looked like the picture. It looked like my growth doubled daily. In your picture I see bright red stems and dark green leafs. So imma say you need to get off fox farms and get on trio with mag.. . Then run low ppms. Imma say your still overfeeding it... Which is stunting the growth substantially.

Also your res Temps are to low for my liking. I like 72f water with environment Temps 77f. In my head this means the nutrients can flow faster through the plant as they are closer to the temp of the plant. I have tried 68 water temps VS 72 and it's like night and day for me.

So if you can warm up your water by moving your air pump to an area that's not so cold I think it would help but only if you lower your feed. Nothing will help fix that issue in my opinion...

I've also noticed it's growth has been real slowww compared to others on here. However seeing them roots really pick up growth these last 2 days I think I'm giving it a more appropriate feeding since I lowered it from 450 ppms to 370s. Might just bring it down to 300 like Vlad said and keep it there for rest of veg. I've been confused about the feeding part and just sort of trying to go off what the plant tells me instead of any feeding regimen I really appreciate you guys for helping me out with it.

The roots are only just hitting the water. Give them a chance. They'll be fine. But i do agree that less is more.

My last grow (small trees RDWC) topped out around 520 ppm.

I'm in this camp also.... 72F roots all the dam way. There is noticeable difference in growth rates...

Op this was 2 weeks of growth when I used to run my RDWC. #watertempsmatter #liesthatwatertempover68causesrot

I'm a 600ppm max guy rarely need to exceed that and only because I run co2.

Honestly I'm only at 70 average. My res drops at night due to no lights, my heater takes all day to get it from 7
68 to 72, but it's ok for now. I have other reasons for massive growth too lol.. These two videos are two weeks apart. Sept 24 and Oct 8th, I even defoliated heavy when I seen the first pistol. Left just the top nodes..

One guy on another forum said I was going to kill it lol... Anyways.. Here's what's up

Aqua's fact of the day.... you can find information on the web of lies any time, any day, any week, any month... ok you get the point.....

To support Bullshit, Broscience, gimmicks, straight out lies and good old stupidity.

#factsandsciencematter if someone can't explain why there is the result they claim... then debate and ask and challenge them. It's beneficial to everyone and how we learn as a community.

Please just do it appropriately.

Debate is important.. imo the because I said so doesn't hold water anymore and if your gonna dick swing you better be right <----- this from experience. I'll be the first to admit I am wrong plenty of times but I will debate tooth an nail if I feel I'm right until I'm proven wrong.

Which happens and I'm not going to pretend that I haven't slapped myself in the face a few times with a swinging object

Ive run water temperatures around 68 deg in both veg and flower and i have since i read i should.

Defoliate side by side comparison small trees

It was suggested to me by a fourm member to do a side by side comparison. My system 13 gal rdwc , current culture Tangerine tonic a clementine gmo cross. I grew 4 of these out the last round and the day i flipped them to flower i cut clones from what i considered the best of the 4. Here she is...
