And before you comment on see thru buckets,,, just wait for it... I said 3 part build... that leaves 2 parts left :)my new guys to the thread,, the ones talking about hydro, dwc in paticular.... I am gonna put together a real quick 3 post build for you guys... On top of that next weekend i will show you how to take multiple dwc buckets and combine them to make a rdwc for under $50, you can make the buckets for abot $15 a piece.. How nice of a air pump is your only option. $20 to 120... mine costs about 35 so dont think you need tim the tool mans air pump :)
Here is the pics for the dwc build only...
this is the parts and what i did...
Yes I've built more than 3 in my head lol and yes some stuff is expensive but i know it will pay for itself. It's like buying a new chainsaw for work lol. I really want to start a Dwc very soon. Debating on building one to suit my personal situation or buy a set up. Also a list of all nuts and and such from start to finish would be great. I usually don't like start anything unless I have EVERYTHING I will need from the gate. With that said...@Ron101 so how we doing brother? Update? Pic?
Let's make sure we make every day count for you!
So let me know what your doing and any future thoughts. I know how it goes the first 8 weeks. You have prob done build 3 grow rooms in your own mind and even priced all the stuff. And you prob said o shit.. this is expensive lol
We all did.. and then we all jumped... cost me 2k to get here but it's been recover now... 8 months and I'm out of the red finally. So dreams do materialize with patience and fortitude...

to me they look great. Make sure not to over water, as in dont water to often... Let them dry in between.. I see guys preach wet/dry cycles are everything for you soil guys... Dwc doesnt have that problem :) And i must of been reading your mind cause i just posted you a lil diy :)Yes I've built more than 3 in my head lol and yes some stuff is expensive but i know it will pay for itself. The lady's at my friends house are looking ok I think.
Sure all you need are two float meters high low and keep it between the numbers with phI came to the same conclusion! I wonder if a Raspberry pi could be programmed to do that. @AvidLerner ?
They were just watered yesterday. Over and underwatering does worry me tho.to me they look great. Make sure not to over water, as in dont water to often... Let them dry in between.. So @Wisher619 what you think these are gonna look like when i flower them out? I might have to bring them upstairs after the kid leaves and move in the grow room and move the plants in my bedroom under 9 foot ceilings lmao...my new guys to the thread,, the ones talking about hydro, dwc in paticular.... What are we doing here., i for got.. Is this pertaining to my question of how to automate the draining and refilling of my rdwc system?Sure all you need are two float meters high low and keep it between the numbers with ph
What does this mean? It sounds interesting I'm just not sure what you're talking about? Plasma cutter? Light Saber? With you who knows. Wouldn't doubt you have made your own light saber :D always admire your threads and informative posts.I got a50w laser. That is crazy excellent.

On the real tho, my roots when i took them out the pots was a lil off white, the soil was really soaked at bottom. root in bottom not near as nice as half way up... I beleive that i need a dif timer on my flood table.. Instead of 15 min cycles twice a day i should of done 5 min cycles 3x a day to get better drying... I think the roots searched for higher ground to breath which was causing me some issues... I believe the 3 gal fabric worked better than the 1/2 gal square pots for some reason... Just my observations... I did have a slight smell of root rot in very bottom of pot...
I think i will go thru a week of trans shock as they get situated in the dwc, and the hydrogaurd does its thing....
These are definitely having an issue tho. Everything is exactly the same as the rest.Yes I've built more than 3 in my head lol and yes some stuff is expensive but i know it will pay for itself. im sorry brother i just dont know how to help soil growers.. I think you win it or lose it when you make your soil mix.. In hydro i can change things on the fly,, in soil,, well i think you are along for the ride as you already picked the car your driving... well i got a little more work left.. long day! These are definitely having an issue tho. Everything is exactly the same as the rest.
now that is my kinda plant... I can see thru her! Hell ya! Maybe you should stick to autos :)So interesting news. This girl, which I thought was a bagseed, is actually a feminized auto of either Green Crack or Sour Diesel.
One of my best friends got it from her dad and wanted to grow it with me as our plant. She communicated to me it was green crack or sour diesel but gave me the impression it was bagseed. Just found out today talking to her dad it's a fem auto :D
We mixed up the seeds and the second one damped off. Anyone able to guess whether this is green crack or sour d? I'd guess GC because sourD is a sativa. But I'd love yalls opinions :D
Probably best looking plant I have right now too :mushtache:
