That makes sense. Especially if you're making concentrates predominately :D
If you are looking for a slow cure.
You leave the entire plant intact. And hang complete
This way you don't expose any extra open points to allow water to escape.
The fan leaves stay on through the drying process. Their water content helps slow down the plant drying process.
You will want to hang in your tent with air cycling at it's lowest rate.
This will allow the moisture wicked off the plant to be carried away and replaced with fresh dryer air.
It will also run all the stank through the carbon.
I'm worried the RH will go Too high with lights off and exhaust fan dialed all the way down. Anything to assuage my concerns?
Feeling Julian assuaged. You have no water bucket or soil retaining water. Unless you have another water input source it should be no biggie?
You will just be flowing ambient air over and through the plant. It's little moisture content won't be released fast enough or in large enough quantities to substantially affect the tent rh%
oh for sureAnd I by no means am arguing with any of your experience :)
I just like discussing the difference in experiences and methods.
I'm keeping track of the process with #3 . This is what I have so far since beginning of senescence. With still barely any amber.

As her leaves suck dry her flowers are swelling and trichomes heads are visibly fattening. I'm never skipping this point again. Once ambers start showing up in numbers I chop before they multiply.
Looking back My first couple grows were harvested much too early.
I'm just trying to share the love.
oh for sure
see pic #2 is when I would pull it
just because dead leaves scare me
I actually agree with you whole heartedlyI think we should all grow the same feminized bean strain
In our different environments, media, lighting, flowering times etc.
And compare our outcomes with one another.
It would be an interesting experiment.
I usually donate most of my product to the sickI actually agree with you whole heartedly
the entire crew
that would actually be awesome
we should see if someone would supply all of us with some beans
like send each one of us a 5 pack
and we all start at the same time
differ methods differ media
differ lighting differ nutes
and see what the outcome would be
